IMMEDIATE HIRING: PROJECT COORDINATOR — CONSTRUCTION
Remote | Full-Time |
Maybridge Development LLC | North Carolina-Based Government Construction Company
WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY
We are looking for a Project Coordinator with construction experience to join our growing team.
This is a fast-moving position for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and moves with urgency.
Your goal is simple:
Help us move the needle.
We do not want someone who waits to be told what to do every step of the way. We need someone who can look at what is happening across our projects, identify what needs attention, take action, follow up with the right people, and keep things moving.
If you are someone who naturally thinks:
“What needs to happen next?”
—you may be a great fit for this position.
ABOUT MAYBRIDGE
Maybridge Development LLC is a growing North Carolina-based government construction company specializing in construction, restoration, energy efficiency, and government contracting.
We work on projects for government agencies and are building a company with strong systems, processes, and a high standard of execution.
Because we are growing quickly, we need people who can keep up with the pace of the company.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for keeping projects, documentation, communication, and administrative processes organized and moving forward.
Your responsibilities include:
• Coordinate project activities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Track open tasks and follow up until they are completed
• Monitor project status and identify items that are falling behind
• Coordinate communication between Project Managers, field staff, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members
• Maintain accurate project files and documentation
• Review contracts, work orders, proposals, reports, invoices, and other project documents
• Review documents for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and inconsistencies
• Prepare and organize bid and proposal documentation
• Track outstanding documentation and follow up with responsible team members
• Coordinate site visit scheduling and project-related logistics
• Maintain project management systems and update project information
• Track project requirements and deadlines
• Support project closeout and ensure required documentation is completed
• Identify gaps in our processes and bring them to leadership's attention
• Help create, improve, and maintain company SOPs and workflows
• Conduct administrative and project audits
• Monitor whether team members are following established processes
• Communicate issues quickly when something is off track
• Complete administrative and operational projects assigned by leadership
• Support company communications and social media updates when needed
CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
You must have some previous experience in construction or a closely related industry.
However, you should already understand basic construction terminology and how construction projects operate.
You should be familiar with things such as:
• Scope of work
• Work orders
• Contracts
• Bid proposals
• Change orders
• Subcontractors
• Project schedules
• Site visits
• Punch lists
• Project documentation
• Invoices
• Project closeout
We do not want to spend months teaching someone the basics of construction.
You should be able to enter a construction environment and understand what you are looking at.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
Moves with urgency.
This is one of the most important qualities we are looking for.
You should be someone who:
• Responds quickly
• Takes action without constant direction
• Follows through
• Notices when something is missing
• Follows up without being asked
• Doesn't let tasks sit unnecessarily
• Can prioritize competing deadlines
• Learns fairly quickly
• Is highly organized
• Has strong attention to detail
• Communicates clearly
• Can work independently
• Is comfortable being held accountable
• Looks for solutions instead of simply identifying problems
• Wants to grow with a company
You do not need to be bubbly or overly outgoing.
We care about urgency, accuracy, ownership, communication, and execution.
THIS IS NOT A "WAIT FOR INSTRUCTIONS" JOB
If your working style is:
“I finished what I was assigned, so now I'll wait.”
This probably isn't the right position for you.
We want someone who sees an unfinished task and thinks:
“This needs to get done. Who do I need to contact? What information am I missing? What can I do right now to move this forward?”
That mindset is extremely important to us.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
We move quickly, and we believe performance should be evaluated based on actual results.
You will have a 30-day performance review.
During your first 30 days, we will evaluate:
• Speed and urgency
• Accuracy
• Follow-through
• Communication
• Organization
• Ability to learn our systems
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Initiative
• Overall contribution to the team
We want to know one thing:
Are you helping us move the needle?
SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
• Fieldwire
• Procore
• Buildertrend
•
• Asana
• ClickUp
• Microsoft Office
• Google Workspace
• Slack
You do not need to know every system. You do need to be comfortable learning new software quickly.
THIS POSITION IS A GOOD FIT FOR YOU IF...
You enjoy being the person who keeps things organized.
You like solving problems.
You notice details other people miss.
You don't need someone checking on you every hour.
You like a fast-paced environment.
You want to grow into greater responsibility.
And most importantly, you take pride in getting things done.
HOW TO APPLY
Please send:
1. Your resume
2. A voice recording

A brief description of your construction experience
The construction/project management software you have used
Answer this question in your application:
You are reviewing a construction project and notice that an important document is missing, a team member has not completed an assigned task, and a deadline is approaching. What would you do?
We are looking for how you think and how you take action, not a textbook answer.
Applications that do not answer this question will not be considered.
ONE LAST THING
We are a growing company.
That means there will be a lot to do, priorities will change, and there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with Maybridge, not someone who is simply looking for another job.
If you are smart, organized, fast-moving, and ready to contribute, we want to hear from you.
