We are seeking a competent Program Operations Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing student onboarding, progress, execution, and accountability across our online IT training programs, specifically Community Masterclass and Career Launcher.
This position includes working directly with the founder, Dexter & our Infrastructure support team to onboard new students after enrollment and ensure they are properly set up, oriented, and aligned with program expectations from day one.
We are looking for a full-time Program Operations Manager who can guide students through onboarding, monitor progress, enforce structured execution, and maintain high program standards throughout the student lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with IT help desk or systems administration experience who understands how infrastructure concepts build in real-world environments.

Your Essential Techs is a top-rated digital marketing agency in El Cajon, California, founded in 2021 by Dexter Blanco. We streamline, optimize, and scale local businesses’ online presence with data-driven SEO, CRO, and web design.
We also operate an Information Technology training and mentorship division, helping individuals break into IT roles through hands-on labs, structured programs, and accountability-driven education.
Role Purpose:
->Ensure students are properly onboarded and set up for success
->Maintain structure, accountability, and execution across training programs
->Deliver a professional, real-world learning experience aligned with IT environments
->Support student progress from onboarding through completion
->Build a disciplined, high-standard learning culture
Key Responsibilities:
->Student Onboarding (With Founder Support)
->Assist Dexter with onboarding new students after enrollment
->Guide students through:
-->Platform access
-->Community orientation
-->Program structure and expectations
->Ensure students understand:
-->How the program works
-->What accountability looks like
-->What “completion” actually means
->Identify onboarding issues early and escalate when needed
Community Masterclass (Intake & Readiness):
->Track student progress and completion percentages
->Monitor engagement and implementation behavior
->Identify students who are ready for Career Launcher
->Flag students who need more preparation before advancing
->Maintain clear visibility into student readiness
Career Launcher (Execution & Accountability):
->Track chapter-by-chapter completion
->Enforce correct task order and prerequisites
->Monitor:
-->Core-4 fundamentals (Hardware, OS, Networking, Active Directory)
-->Hands-on lab execution
-->Documentation and portfolio requirements
->Follow up with students who stall, skip steps, or fall behind
->Identify technical blockers vs accountability issues
->Uphold program standards consistently
Progress Tracking & Reporting
->Maintain accurate student records and status tracking
->Provide weekly summaries to leadership:
-->Newly onboarded students
-->Active students
-->Stalled students
-->Completion trends
->Report recurring execution or curriculum friction points
Preferred IT Background (Strong Advantage):
This role is strongly preferred for candidates with IT experience, including:
->IT Help Desk / Service Desk Leadership Experience
->Junior Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Support experience
->Exposure to virtualization (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, Nutanix, etc.)
->Linux fundamentals
->Windows Server & Active Directory
-->Users, groups, OUs
-->Domain concepts
->Strong foundational networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, WAN & LAN)
You do not need to be a senior engineer — but you must understand how these systems work in practice and lead others to success using them.

->Experience working full-time for one employer is strongly preferred

->Ability to evaluate information, identify patterns, and escalate issues clearly

This is a full-time remote position (40 hours per week). During the initial phase of the role, work hours will primarily align with US Pacific Daylight Time, typically:
~ 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday, to start [There will definitely be a need for weekend work / flexibility in the schedule after being established in the role for 2-3 Months and building relationships with students & community members]
This role is long-term, and schedule adjustments will be communicated clearly in advance as operational needs change.
