Job Description: Product Manager (Platform Optimization)
Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Manager to lead the optimization and live deployment of our tech platform
on our website. This platform supports a self-service staffing marketplace connecting clients with virtual legal talent.
The Product Manager will serve as the central liaison between our Marketing and Development teams, ensuring all
platform components—from SEO/keyword integration to feature functionality—are delivered accurately, on time,
and to a high-quality standard, while identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring the platfor ---------- ets
both business and user needs.
This is a fully remote, virtual assistant position.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Liaison
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the Marketing team and the Development team
• Translate marketing requirements (keyword strategy, SEO priorities, messaging) into clear, actionable
development tasks
• Ensure alignment between marketing goals and technical implementation throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate communication and alignment between cross-functional teams, ensuring stakeholders remain
informed of priorities, risks, and progress.
• Present project updates, key findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Feature & Platform Strategy
• Collaborate with Marketing to define and prioritize the feature list required for the platform launch
• Identify gaps in current platform functionality and propose new ideas, features, or improvements
• Gather and incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and users to inform feature enhancements and
platform improvements.
• Evaluate the business and user impact of proposed features and recommend priorities accordingly.
• Maintain and update a master feature roadmap, ensuring nothing required for launch is overlooked
Quality Assurance & Task Auditing
• Audit and QA every development task prior to sign-off, verifying it meets defined requirements
• Test platform functionality (forms, search, filtering, keyword-driven pages, user flows, etc.) for accuracy and
usability
• Flag defects, inconsistencies, or incomplete work back to the Development team with clear documentation
• Confirm final implementations match the approved keyword and feature specifications from Marketing
• Assess the business and user impact of defects and prioritize issues based on severity and urgency.
• Validate production releases and monitor post-launch issues to ensure successful implementation.
Project & Task Management
• Break down high-level goals into trackable tasks for the Development team
• Monitor task progress and maintain visibility into project status for all stakeholders
• Proactively surface risks, delays, or blockers and recommend solutions
• Define clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for new features and enhancements.
• Establish priorities and manage competing requests to ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Feature completion rate (planned vs. delivered features)
• Product development milestones met on schedule
• QA pass rate / defect rate on delivered tasks
• Turnaround time on issue identification and resolution
• Accuracy of keyword/feature implementation against Marketing specifications
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, Project Manager, or similar role, ideally in a tech/web platform
environment
• Experience working with both marketing and development teams
• Strong understanding of SEO/keyword strategy implementation (or ability to learn quickly)
• Excellent QA/testing skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising between teams
• Experience managing tasks/projects remotely and independently
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with staffing, recruiting, or legal industry platforms
• Experience with self-service or marketplace-style web platforms
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, ---------- )
• Basic understanding of website functionality/UX to communicate effectively with developers
Work Environment
• Fully remote position
• Must be available to coordinate across marketing and development team schedules
• Independent, self-directed work style with regular check-ins/reporting
