About this Role
We are building a new digital platform that is already in active development and preparing for
launch. We are looking for a Product Manager to help take the product from “working” to
excellent—with a strong focus on usability, clarity, quality, and early user adoption.
This role will work closely under a senior Product Manager and alongside a small, focused team
to refine features, improve user flows, ensure high product quality, and support launch
readiness.
While this position is posted as Product Manager, it is best described as a Product Specialist /
Associate Product Manager role. You will be deeply hands-on with the product and involved in
day-to-day execution, testing, iteration, and operational support.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to own a real product, learn how early-stage
platforms are shaped, and contribute directly to something that will be used by real customers.
What You’ll Be Working On
- A web-based platform with:
- User accounts and profiles
- Core workflows that must be simple and intuitive
- A clear value proposition for multiple user types
- A product that must be:
- Easy to understand on first use
- Reliable and polished at launch
- Ready to support marketing and growth efforts
You will help ensure the product is something people actually want to sign up for and use.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Research & Insight Gathering
- Research comparable platforms and products in related spaces
- Identify:
- Common feature patterns
- Best practices
- Gaps and opportunities
- Share concise insights and recommendations with the Product Manager and team
2. Product Definition & Feature Support
- Assist in defining and refining:
- Core features
- MVP scope
- User flows and edge cases
- Help translate ideas into:
- Clear requirements
- Actionable tasks for development
- Keep the team aligned on priorities and next steps
3. QA & Product Quality Ownership
- Thoroughly test features as they are built
- Identify bugs, UX issues, and unclear flows
- Ensure:
- Key user actions work smoothly
- The product feels professional and trustworthy
- Act as the primary QA owner before features are released
4. Generalist Product & Operations Support
Because this is a small, early-stage team, you will also:
? Help respond to user questions or issues via
- Assist with basic customer support and troubleshooting
- Support operational tasks related to the platform
- Provide feedback on marketing assets, onboarding flows, and landing pages as
needed
This is a hands-on role where flexibility and ownership matter.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work daily with:
- A Product Manager
- A Developer
- A Marketing teammate
- Ensure the product supports marketing and growth initiatives
- Provide feedback and insights that improve conversion and user experience

- Ability to work graveyard shift aligned with US-based teams
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
- Experience with early-stage products or startups
- Familiarity with product tools (Notion, Figma, Jira, Linear, etc.)
- Experience supporting or QA-ing web platforms
- Interest in digital platforms, marketplaces, or SaaS products
