JOB OVERVIEW

About the role
We are a US CPG company with multiple brands, primarily in cosmetics and supplements. We sell DTC and B2B retail.
We need a Product Designer to turn product ideas into retail-ready visuals for buyers, then convert approved concepts into print-ready packaging and label files. You will also support online listing assets (Amazon, Shopify, wholesale catalogs).
You will work closely with the Product Development Coordinator, Sales & Marketing, and suppliers. Core work: product rendering, packaging/label systems, and listing assets.

What you will do
B2B retail proposals (primary)

- Create photorealistic product renders and mockups for buyer presentations (bottles, jars, tubes, boxes, kits, displays)
- Design sell sheets, line sheets, and proposal slides (pack-out, claims hierarchy, shelf presence) in coordination with the - Product Development Coordinator
- Adapt existing brand assets into retailer-specific versions
- Revise quickly from Sales / PD feedback

Packaging & print production (once approved)

- Design and update labels, cartons, inserts, and secondary packaging
- Build and maintain supplier dielines; prepare print-ready files (bleed, CMYK/Pantone, fonts outlined, correct resolution)
- Place legal/mandatory copy (ingredients, net wt, warnings, barcodes) from supplied text — you do not write claims
- Hand off files to suppliers/printers and fix prepress issues

Online listing support

- Produce listing images, comparison graphics, infographics, and pack shots for Amazon, Shopify, and wholesale portals
- Keep SKU imagery and branding consistent across channels

Collaboration

- Work daily with Product Development and Sales & Marketing
- Design to supplier constraints (mold, label size, material, print method)
- Organize files, versions, and a shared asset library

Must-have skills

- Portfolio of physical product packaging/labels (beauty, personal care, supplements, or similar CPG)
- Expert in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; InDesign a plus
- Realistic 3D product renders/mockups (KeyShot, Blender, Cinema 4D, or equivalent — name your tools)
- Dielines, bleed, print specs, and supplier-ready files
- Strong typography and hierarchy for small-pack labels
- Can turn rough briefs into presentation-ready work
- Written English sufficient for Slack/email with a US team
- Reliable internet, organized file hygiene
