Job Overview: As a Product Designer at Upgraded Us, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products. You will work closely with our design team to create engaging, visually appealing, and customer-centered products that resonate with our target audience and align with the company’s mission and vision. You will be responsible for handling product development processes, which includes product research and ideation, creating product briefs, deeply researching product contents, designing product components, coordinating with suppliers, and writing product-related copy. Your primary focus will be on d ---------- the form and function of our products to create intuitive and enjoyable user experiences, and ensure our products not only look great but also solve real user needs. Many of our products are text-heavy, so you must love reading, writing, and organizing information.

Job Details:
Hours: 20 or 40 hrs/week (We can accommodate either schedule).
Compensation: Please submit your desired USD/hour rate in the application form. We pay weekly via Wise bank transfers.
Start Date: Upon future openings.
Job Duration: Permanent, long-term tea ---------- mber positions.
Work Schedule: Morning to late afternoon, Philippines time zone preferred. Some meetings may take place at 7 am PHT. Flexibility in schedule is offered as long as you attend meetings and log hours in Hubstaff.
Perks: 13th-month pay, paid Filipino regular holidays, 15 days paid time off per year, paid health insurance (for full-time positions). Benefits for part-time members can be negotiated.

Responsibilities:
Conduct product research and brainstorming to come up with in-demand, profitable products that address the needs of our target market.
Design the entire product, carefully considering form, function, and overall user experience.
Continuously test and refine designs based on feedback from the team, customer surveys, or supplementary research.
Research and write the contents of each product.
Work with the Creatives Team to develop a visually appealing and consistent design system for the product, including typography, color palettes, and iconography.
Lead the development of compelling copy for product labels, online listings, and other relevant materials.
Coordinate with manufacturers to identify a cost-effective partner that can create a prototype and produce the product at scale.
Coordinate with the Marketing Team and the Data Analyst and to help produce engaging and data-driven marketing/ad materials.

Qualifications:
A strong portfolio showcasing a solid foundation in managing product development projects from concept to production.
A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring flawless designs and exceptional quality.
A passion for creating innovative, impactful products and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, resulting in products that provide value to users.
Proven experience in project management, preferably in the consumer goods or e-commerce industry.
A strategic mindset and creative flair for identifying market opportunities and developing high-potential product lines.
A keen understanding of market dynamics and evolving consumer preferences.
The ability to conduct a cost-benefit analysis of design choices and manufacturing methods.
The ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork.
A receptive attitude towards constructive feedback, using it as an opportunity to improve and refine designs.
The desire to create products that improve customers’ lives.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Amazon FBA product research.
Knowledge of patents, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights.
A genuine passion for personal growth and development, aligning with the company's mission.
