JOB OVERVIEW

We are a US based technology reseller looking for a reliable Procurement & Supplier Operations Coordinator to help manage communication with our suppliers in China and other parts of Asia.

The main purpose of this role is to keep purchase orders, supplier conversations, shipments, and time sensitive issues moving during Asian business hours while our US team is offline or no longer actively monitoring messages.

This is not a high volume customer service position. The workload may be relatively light at times, but responsiveness, attention to detail, and good judgment are extremely important.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and respond to supplier messages during assigned hours
• Follow up on open purchase orders, inventory availability, lead times, and shipping status
• Confirm routine order and shipping information with suppliers
• Request tracking numbers, invoices, packing lists, serial numbers, COO information, and other documentation when needed
• Follow up on delayed orders and supplier RMAs
• Keep internal order notes and statuses updated
• Identify issues that require management approval and escalate them through WhatsApp or another messaging platform
• Provide management with a concise recommendation instead of simply forwarding supplier questions
• Prepare a short summary of important developments at the end of the shift

We purchase computer hardware and electronic components, including processors, GPUs, memory, storage, and related products. Experience in electronics or computer hardware is helpful but not required.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and use good judgment. You should be able to distinguish between routine questions that can be handled immediately and important issues such as changes in part number, condition, quantity, price, lead time, or product specifications that need to be escalated.

Requirements:

• Excellent written English
• Procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or supplier management experience
• Strong attention to detail, especially with part numbers, quantities, pricing, and specifications
• Experience communicating with suppliers in China or Asia is highly preferred
• Comfortable working with email, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and purchasing systems
• Reliable internet connection and strong responsiveness during working hours
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Experience with Alibaba, WeChat, international shipping, or electronics procurement is a plus
• Mandarin is a plus but is not required

Schedule:

Approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Philippines time, Monday through Friday. The most important requirement is being available and attentive during Chinese business hours.
