Admin & Recruitment Support Specialist

We are an Australian-based BPO seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to support our client, an Australian mining company.
This is a full-time (FT) role of 40 hours per week, during Australian business hours. Offering the flexibility of working-from-home (WFH) and a competitive salary package + paid leave + bonuses.
This role is responsible for delivering a comprehensive and value-driven approach to procurement and contract management, supporting operations and projects. We’re looking for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident working across suppliers, logistics, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Include
Procurement & Contract Management
• Prepare and issue tender documentation, RFQs, and purchase orders for high value/high risk items
• Conduct commercial and technical evaluation of supplier bids
• Ensure purchase orders comply with specifications and requirements
• Identify and recommend procurement strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality
• Ensure timely purchasing commitments aligned with operational needs
• Support contract management and procurement lifecycle activities
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Develop strong knowledge of supplier capabilities and market options
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and spare parts
• Attend material status meetings and provide updates on outstanding orders
• Liaise with internal teams to align procurement priorities
Logistics & Expediting
• Expedite materials to ensure on-time delivery for operations and projects
• Monitor transport schedules and coordinate with logistics providers
• Track shipments and resolve delivery issues proactively
Reporting & Compliance
• Prepare accurate and professional procurement reports
• Maintain high attention to detail across documentation and processes
• Draft bilingual reports (English/Mandarin) where required
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company standards
Project Support
• Provide procurement support for operations and upcoming projects
• Assist in sourcing materials and coordinating deliveries
Systems & Tools You’ll Use
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Procurement / Supply Chain Systems
• ERP Systems

• Proven end-to-end procurement experience
• Bachelor degree or above in engineering or relevant field
• Experience handling tenders, RFQs, and purchase orders
• Strong ability to analyze costs and recommend cost-saving strategies
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, logistics, and stakeholders
• Experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry procurement
• Experience supporting operations and project-based procurement
• Familiarity with logistics coordination and expediting
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field
