Key Responsibilities
Procurement:
· Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service.
· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
· Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely placement of orders.
· Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
· Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers.
· Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing working capital.
Supply Chain Coordination
· Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
· Coordinate with brokers to handle customs clearance and international shipping documentation (if applicable).
· Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
· Resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, or losses, and implement corrective actions.
· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including safety, environmental, and trade laws.
Data Management & Reporting:
· Maintain accurate records of purchases, shipments, inventory, and supplier information.
· Use ERP to manage procurement and logistics data.
· Prepare reports on procurement metrics, logistics performance, and cost analysis.
· Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to procurement and logistics.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
· Work closely with production, sales, finance, and quality assurance teams to align supply chain activities with business needs.
· Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Skills
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience:
· Proven experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain roles
· Familiarity with procurement processes, inventory management, and international logistics (if applicable).
· Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
Skills:
· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
· Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and solve problems proactively.
