U.S. Mortgage Processor / Loan Officer Assistant (Remote)
CTC Equity | Full-time | U.S. Pacific Time overlap required

We’re looking for an experienced mortgage processor/LOA who can own the details of a file, communicate clearly with borrowers, and keep loans moving from application to funding. Our team works on HELOCs, fixed second mortgages, DSCR investor loans, and Non-QM loans, including self-employed borrowers.

What you’ll do

* Review new files and create a clear list of missing documents and next steps.
* Follow up with borrowers by phone, text, and email to collect documents and resolve conditions.
* Coordinate with loan officers, lenders, title, escrow, appraisal vendors, and internal team members.
* Track deadlines, update the loan system, and flag stalled files early.
* Help prepare complete submissions and follow files through underwriting, closing, and funding.
* Give the team a concise daily update on each active file: status, outstanding items, owner, and next action.

What we’re looking for

* At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting U.S. mortgage loans as a processor or LOA.
* Strong knowledge of mortgage documents, underwriting conditions, and the loan process.
* Excellent spoken and written English; Spanish is a plus.
* Confident, professional borrower communication and persistent follow-up.
* Strong organization skills and comfort managing multiple active files.
* Reliable internet, a quiet workspace, and availability during agreed U.S. Pacific business hours.

Experience with HELOCs, DSCR, Non-QM, broker lender portals, Floify, or LendingPad is a strong plus. We’ll provide access to approved systems and define the duties for this position; loan terms and origination decisions remain with authorized team members.
