Position Overview:
The Process Specialist is responsible for creating, documenting, maintaining, and continuously improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments. This role works closely with the Operations Manager and collaborates with Admin Operations, Resource Management, Finance, and Field teams to translate workflows, from simple to complex, into clear, scalable, and user-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate has strong process-thinking skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and experience using documentation and training platforms such as Trainual. Construction or trade-industry experience is a strong plus.
Pay Range: $7 per hour with a performance review scheduled after 90 days of employment. We believe in rewarding exceptional talents.

Objectives:
-Create, document, and maintain clear, accurate, and scalable SOPs for simple, intermediate, and advanced operational processes.
-Ensure SOPs remain current by proactively updating documentation based on process changes, system updates, and leadership direction.
-Coordinate with department leaders and subject matter experts to capture workflows accurately and translate them into user-friendly documentation.
-Write, organize, publish and manage SOPs within Trainual and other documentation or training platforms to ensure accessibility and consistency.
-Support company-wide process standardization to improve efficiency, accountability, and cross-team alignment.
-Assist with process rollouts by supporting training materials, announcements, and change documentation as needed.
-Identify gaps, redundancies, or inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend improvements.
Competencies:
-Strong process-thinking and analytical skills with the ability to break down complex workflows into clear, actionable steps and visual process flowcharts.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of clarity, structure, and attention to detail.
-Proven ability to write and update SOPs for both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Experience using Trainual or similar documentation, knowledge management, or LMS platforms.
-Ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
-Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and field teams.
-Comfort asking probing questions to fully understand processes and identify edge cases.
-Change-management mindset with the ability to document evolving processes without disruption.
-Training or onboarding experience is a plus, particularly in explaining processes to new team members.
-Construction, electrical, or trade-industry experience is a strong plus.
Education and Experience:
-At least 2 years of experience in process documentation, SOP creation, operations support, or a related role.
-Experience writing SOPs for operational, administrative, or technical processes.
-Experience with Trainual or similar documentation/training platforms is highly preferred.
-Construction, electrical, facilities, or field-operations experience is a plus.
-Experience supporting training, onboarding, or internal enablement initiatives is a plus.
Equipment Requirements:
-Computer or laptop capable of handling documentation platforms, process mapping, and collaboration tools.
-Stable and reliable internet connection for online operations and virtual communication.
Physical Requirements:
-Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
