JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing Amazon private label business seeking a highly analytical and experienced Product Researcher to identify and validate profitable product opportunities. This role is critical to our expansion strategy and requires someone who can consistently source high-potential products, evaluate risk, and support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities
• Identify new product opportunities with strong demand, low to moderate competition, and healthy profit margins
• Conduct in-depth market analysis using tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, and Amazon Seller Central data
• Evaluate product viability based on pricing, fees, landed costs, and estimated net margins
• Analyze keyword data, search volume, and trends to assess demand and ranking potential
• Review competitor listings, including pricing strategies, reviews, and differentiation opportunities
• Source and compare suppliers (primarily via Alibaba or similar platforms), including preliminary cost negotiations
• Estimate total landed cost, including manufacturing, shipping, duties, and Amazon fees
• Identify opportunities for product improvement, bundling, or positioning to increase competitiveness
• Present clear product research reports with actionable recommendations
• Work closely with management and operations to transition validated products into launch phase

Requirements
• Proven experience researching and identifying profitable products for Amazon private label businesses
• Strong understanding of Amazon FBA economics, including fees, margins, and logistics
• Proficiency with product research tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or equivalent
• Ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights
• Strong understanding of keyword research and demand validation
• Experience sourcing from overseas suppliers and understanding of basic supply chain considerations
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet consistent research output targets

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with multi-variation listings or scaling existing product lines
• Familiarity with launching products and understanding of ranking strategies
• Experience working with small to mid-sized Amazon sellers in a growth phase
• Basic understanding of branding, positioning, and conversion optimization

Performance Expectations
• Consistently identify viable product opportunities that meet defined margin and demand criteria
• Maintain a steady pipeline of researched products ready for review
• Demonstrate sound judgment in filtering out high-risk or low-potential ideas
• Contribute directly to the company’s SKU expansion and revenue growth
