We are an Australian promotional products, corporate branding and print solutions company.
Based in Australia, we help businesses, schools, sporting clubs and organisations with their promotional products, corporate uniforms, branded merchandise and printing requirements.
We are looking for a reliable and technically strong Print Production & Prepress Specialist in the Philippines to become part of our offshore team.
This is not a basic graphic design position.
We need someone who understands commercial printing and can take customer artwork and turn it into files that are genuinely ready for production.
Your Main Role
You will support our Australian team by managing the technical artwork and production process.
Your workflow will be:
Customer Request ? Artwork ? Prepress Check ? Mock-up/Proof ? Production ? Delivery
Responsibilities
Print & Prepress
Prepare print-ready PDF files.
Work with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Check CMYK/RGB colour settings.
Check bleed and crop marks.
Check document dimensions.
Check image resolution.
Check fonts and typography.
Check margins and safe areas.
Prepare artwork for cutting, folding and finishing.
Check production specifications.
Correct customer-supplied artwork where necessary.
Promotional Products
Prepare artwork for:
Business cards
Flyers
Brochures
Booklets
Presentation folders
Posters
Stickers
Labels
Banners
Signage
Corporate uniforms
Promotional clothing
Caps
Bags
Drink bottles
Pens
Corporate merchandise
Event merchandise
Production Management
You will assist with online print and production ordering systems.
Responsibilities include:
Uploading artwork.
Checking product specifications.
Checking quantities.
Checking paper/stock.
Checking finishing requirements.
Checking turnaround times.
Reviewing proofs.
Uploading revised artwork.
Following up rejected artwork.
Recording job information.
Communicating with production partners.
Customer Mock-ups
You will also create professional visual mock-ups so customers can see what their finished product will look like before production.
File Management
You must maintain an organised job filing system including:
Customer artwork
Working files
Final artwork
Proofs
Approved artwork
Production files
Production information
Required Skills
Essential:
2+ years graphic design experience.
Strong Adobe Illustrator skills.
Strong Adobe InDesign skills.
Strong Photoshop skills.
Commercial print experience.
Prepress knowledge.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good written English.
Ability to follow production specifications.
Ability to work independently.
