Love turning rough ideas into clean, print-ready art? Help a growing apparel shop put great designs on shirts, social media and our website every week.
About us
June's Tees is a growing US custom apparel and print shop (screen printing, DTF, embroidery, signs, promo items). We serve schools, sports teams, small businesses and event organizers. Almost every order needs artwork, and we're hiring one dependable, long-term designer to own it.
What you'll do
1. Make customer artwork print-ready: redraw logos as clean vectors, separate colors for screen printing, prepare transparent PNGs for DTF, and simplify designs for embroidery
2. Build mockups and proofs, and send them to customers through our staff dashboard
3. Create social media posts and short videos in COS Creator Studio, our social media platform (full training provided)
4. Write and update blog posts for our website, with photos and images that help customers find us on Google
5. Design ready-to-sell shirts for our online shop: seasonal, school, team and event designs
You'll do great here if you are
- Careful with details: we print exactly what the customer approves
- A clear writer in English (you'll write proof messages, captions and blog posts)
- Fast and organized with many small jobs at once
- Good at taking feedback and making changes quickly
Required
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills (you'll need your own license)
- Experience preparing art for print: vectors, spot colors, print sizes, 300 dpi
- A portfolio that includes print or apparel work, not just digital art
Nice to have: screen print color separations, embroidery design knowledge, Photoshop, Canva, short-form video editing, blog writing or basic SEO, experience with school or sports designs.
Tools you'll use
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Google Docs and Drive, COS Creator Studio (our social platform), and our staff dashboard (jobs, proofs, team chat). We'll train you on our systems.
Schedule
- 20 hours/week, Monday–Friday
- You choose your working hours, as long as you work the full 20 hours each week and stay in close contact with the team, so proofs and customer questions get quick replies.
Pay
- $4.50 USD/hour ($90/week, about $390/month), paid weekly during training
- $5.00/hour once training is signed off (60–90 days), with pay reviews every 6 months after that
Time off
- We observe major US holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) as paid days off.
- 3 paid leave days after 6 months.
Training
You start with guided training: our artwork rules for each print method, how we make and send proofs, creating posts in COS Creator Studio, and how we write blog posts. A short artwork quiz checks you've got it. The owner reviews your work before it reaches customers, and you take on more as you're ready.
Career path
As the business grows, strong performers get more hours, raises, and the chance to lead our design and content work.
