Long-term role | Remote | Excellent English essential | Competitive pay for the right person
I’m looking for an exceptional online fitness coach and training partner to work with me on a long-term basis.
This is not a basic “send me a workout plan once a week” coaching role.
I’m looking for someone who genuinely loves training, nutrition and self-improvement — someone who can coach me, challenge me, keep me accountable and share the journey alongside me.
I’m willing to pay properly for the right person. I would rather hire one outstanding person than choose the cheapest applicant.
What I’m looking for
You should be someone who:
* Trains seriously yourself and lives the lifestyle you coach
* Has excellent knowledge of strength training, fitness, nutrition and body composition
* Can design and adapt effective training programmes
* Understands accountability and behaviour change, not just exercise selection
* Is confident enough to challenge me when my effort or discipline drops
* Has excellent written and spoken English
* Is naturally engaging, positive and good fun to work with
* Can have a laugh and some banter while still maintaining high standards
* Is proactive rather than waiting for me to message first
* Is extremely reliable and consistent
* Is comfortable communicating regularly through photos, videos, messages and video calls
The Training Partner Element
The unusual part of this role is that I don’t just want somebody coaching from the sidelines.
I want you to share your own fitness journey too.
That could include:
* Your workouts
* Training photos/videos
* Meals and nutrition
* Weekly weight/check-in
* Progress photos
* Your own goals and challenges
I’ll be doing the same.
The idea is to create genuine two-way accountability.
Some days you’ll be pushing me. Other days we might both be comparing sessions, sharing meals, discussing progress or challenging each other to perform better.
I want it to feel more like having a high-level remote training partner who also happens to be an excellent coach.
What you’ll be responsible for
Coaching
* Build and manage my training programme
* Review performance and progress
* Help manage nutrition and calorie/macronutrient targets
* Adjust training based on results, recovery and lifestyle
* Help me improve body composition, fitness and strength
* Keep me focused on my longer-term objectives
Daily Accountability
We will communicate most days.
This could include:
* Workout completed messages
* Training photos/videos
* Exercise technique videos
* Meal photos
* Steps/activity
* Nutrition
* General accountability
* Calling each other out when standards slip
I want interaction, not automated messages or somebody checking in once every few days.
Weekly Review
We will have a weekly video call to review:
* Training
* Weight
* Progress pictures
* Nutrition
* Performance
* What went well
* What needs improving
* Targets for the following week
Who this role will suit
You may already be a:
* Personal Trainer
* Online Fitness Coach
* Strength & Conditioning Coach
* Sports Coach
* Serious fitness enthusiast with strong coaching knowledge
Qualifications are useful, but they are not enough on their own.
Personality, knowledge, communication, consistency and whether we work well together are more important to me.
What I DON’T want
Please don’t apply if you’re looking to:
* Send a generic PDF programme and disappear
* Copy workouts from ChatGPT or another coaching platform
* Send repetitive motivational messages
* Check in once per week and call it coaching
* Take on another client that you’ll barely have time to speak to
* Tell me what you think I want to hear
I want someone who becomes personally invested in getting results.
Commitment
This is intended to be a long-term position, not a short project.
For the right person, I want to build a strong working relationship where you understand my training, lifestyle, habits, strengths and weaknesses extremely well.
There will be regular communication, but I am not expecting someone to be available 24/7.
Quality and consistency matter far more than sitting online for a certain number of hours.
Compensation
Competitive and negotiable depending on experience and quality.
I am prepared to pay more for somebody exceptional.
Please don’t discount yourself just because this role is being advertised on OnlineJobs.ph.
The successful applicant may initially complete a paid trial period so we can both make sure the partnership works.
How to Apply
I’m expecting a lot of applications, so please put TRAINING PARTNER at the top of your application.
Then answer these questions:
1. Tell me about your own training and fitness journey.
2. What are you currently training for?
3. What does your normal week’s training look like?
4. What experience do you have coaching other people?
5. How would you approach coaching someone who is highly motivated for two weeks and then starts slipping?
6. What would daily accountability with you actually look like?
7. Are you comfortable sharing your own workouts, meals, weight and progress with me?
8. Send me a short 60–90 second video introducing yourself and explaining why you’d be a great fit.
Don’t send me a generic cover letter.
I want to understand your personality, your training philosophy and what it would actually be like having you as my coach and training partner.
I’m looking for someone exceptional — and I’m happy to pay for exceptional.
