JOB OVERVIEW

Virtuas is a Certified B Corp on a mission to make the world a better place through technology. We strive to meet the highest standards of integrity and transparency while offering innovative technology-driven solutions to our clients.

This is a "backend" role with no customer-facing responsibilities. It is a role that interacts with our internal teams to configure ideal technology solutions for our clients, and to leverage the CRM tools to issue quotes and proposals so that they can be sent out by our sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Distributor and Manufacturer Liaison: Develop relationships and knowledge about our vendors' and distributors' IT services and products.
• Quote Generation: Work with sales team to gather requirements and then use technical and product knowledge to prepare quotes and proposals for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Order Management: Provide clean handoff to purchasing team after approvals, as it relates to quoting and procurement of IT hardware and software, as well as to consulting team for project services.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the technical teams to build out configurations and solutions for customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

We're an IT company, so your technical skills must be sharp. You should know the Microsoft 365 ecosystem: Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

You must be EXTREMELY detail-oriented, because there is financial risk if mistakes are made on a quote. If you apply, please put "magnifying-lens" in your message subject to show your attention to detail.

• Ability to type minimum of 50 wpm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Self-managed and always productive. We don't wish to micromanage.
• Desire to learn, both independently and through collaboration.

WORK TIMES

• All timings are US Central Time Zone (CT).
• 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday, 8:30am CT to 5:30pm CT with a 1-hour break in the middle.
