JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Pre-Inventory Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for pre-inventorying newly purchased auction vehicles within 48 hours of purchase. Using auction photos and vehicle information, you'll identify valuable parts, enter accurate part conditions, interchange information, and paint codes, helping maximize the profitability of every vehicle we purchase.
This is a critical position that supports our inventory process and allows our Inventory Specialists to spend more time capturing detailed photos and improving the quality of our listings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Pre-inventory newly purchased auction vehicles using auction photos and vehicle information
• Identify and select sellable automotive parts
• Enter accurate part conditions and interchange information
• Research and enter correct paint codes when applicable
• Ensure vehicles are pre-inventoried within 48 hours of purchase
• Upload detailed part photos into Pinnacle
• Assist with updating MVRs from dismantling reports
• Maintain accuracy while meeting weekly production goals of 50+ vehicles
• Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and accuracy

What We're Looking For:
• Strong knowledge of vehicles and automotive parts
• Minimum of 2 years of automotive industry experience
• Experience in auto salvage, recycling, collision repair, dealership parts, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to identify valuable parts from vehicle photos
• Strong understanding of part conditions and interchange
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Comfortable working long hours on a computer
• Proficient with computers and willing to learn new software
• Able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy
