JOB OVERVIEW

**Position: Senior Construction & Plumbing Estimator (Remote)**
We are hiring an experienced **Estimator** with a strong background in **residential construction and plumbing**.
**Important:** This is NOT a general VA position.
We are only looking for candidates with **real, hands-on experience in estimating and blueprint takeoffs**.

Responsibilities
* Read and interpret construction blueprints (architectural + plumbing)
* Perform detailed quantity takeoffs:
* Fixtures (toilets, lavatories, showers, etc.)
* Pipe runs and materials
* Equipment (water heaters, pumps, etc.)
* Break down projects into phases:
* Underslab
* Rough-in
* Finish
* Prepare accurate cost estimates (labor + materials)
* Support bidding process for residential construction projects
Requirements (Strict)
* Proven experience as a **Construction Estimator or Plumbing Estimator**
* Strong ability to read and understand US blueprints
* Experience with **residential construction projects**
* Solid understanding of **plumbing systems**
* Experience with estimating/takeoff software:
* Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work independently

* You cannot perform takeoffs and calculations
Compensation
* $6 – $10/hour (based on experience)
* Performance-based bonuses (accuracy & winning bids)

REQUIRED TEST (MANDATORY)

* 1 sink
* 1 shower
2. Provide:
* List of fixtures
* Estimated pipe length (rough estimate is acceptable)
* Basic material list
* Labor estimate
3. Answer the following:
* What is included in **rough-in plumbing**?
* What is included in **finish plumbing**?
