JOB OVERVIEW

Podcast Video Editor for B2B Business Podcast

We are looking for a reliable and talented video editor to join our team long term and help us edit and repurpose business podcast interviews.

We work with business owners, founders, and executives, so the editing style needs to feel professional, clean, modern, and engaging without being overly flashy.

What You Will Be Editing

Each podcast interview will typically be around 20 to 30 minutes.

For each episode, we will need:

• One professionally edited full podcast episode

• Clean cuts and removal of mistakes, pauses, and unnecessary sections

• Professional audio cleanup and leveling

• Branded intro and outro

• Speaker name graphics when needed

• Captions when appropriate

• Multiple short form clips pulled from each conversation

• Strong hooks at the beginning of short clips

• Clean vertical formatting for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok

The goal is to take one great business conversation and turn it into content that can be distributed across multiple platforms.

Editing Style

We want editing that feels:

• Professional

• Clean

• Fast paced without feeling distracting

• Natural

• Business focused

• Similar to high quality founder podcasts and business content

We do NOT need crazy animations every five seconds.

The conversation and the people should remain the focus.

What We Are Looking For

You should have experience editing:

• Podcasts

• Interviews

• Talking head videos

• Short form social media content

• Business or educational content

You should also understand how to identify interesting moments from a conversation instead of requiring us to provide every single timestamp.

That is very important.

We want someone who can listen to the conversation and recognize:

“This would make a great clip.”

Requirements

• Strong English comprehension

• Great attention to detail

• Reliable communication

• Ability to meet deadlines consistently

• Experience with professional video editing software

• Ability to edit both horizontal and vertical video

• Good understanding of social media content

• Ability to follow an established editing style once we provide examples

Volume

We are building a podcast acquisition system that could produce approximately 15 to 20 podcast episodes per month once fully running.

This can become consistent long term work for the right person.

We may start with a smaller number of episodes while we establish the workflow.
