Podcast & Social Content Editor | Part-time | Midwife Lauretta

**3–5 hours per week to start | From US$8/hour, negotiable based on experience**

Hi, I’m Lauretta ? I’m an Australian midwife, birth educator and women’s health practitioner. I host *The Midwife Memos* podcast and create educational content for my business, Midwife Lauretta.

I’m looking for one creative person who has experience doing **both** of these things:

- Editing a full podcast episode from a recording into clean, finished audio and/or video.
- Turning podcast audio or video into engaging short-form content for Instagram and tik Tok, including choosing a strong moment, editing the Reel and adding captions.

You’ll also need to be confident designing **Canva carousels and graphics** for social media. From time to time, I may ask for help formatting or designing a PDF, guide or other resource.

**Please apply only if you have hands-on experience editing podcasts *and* creating social content from podcast recordings.** Most of the work will be editing and creating content. I’ll manage uploading and my online platform myself.

I’d love someone who can work independently, while feeling comfortable checking in or asking questions whenever something needs clarification. You don’t need to be a midwife or create clinical information yourself; accuracy and keeping my voice are important.

The role starts at around 3–5 hours per week, with possible extra paid hours for projects. Pay starts at US$8 per hour and is negotiable depending on your experience. I’m hoping to find someone interested in working together long term.
