JOB OVERVIEW

I'm building a new online business focused on spirituality, meditation, and nervous system support for busy moms.

I'm looking for someone to help edit podcast episodes and guided meditation audio. I'm not looking for overly produced or heavily edited content—I prefer a clean, calming, professional style that feels authentic and polished.

Initially this is a project-based role, but I'm hoping to build a long-term relationship with someone who can continue helping as my business grows.

You'll be helping me:

• Edit podcast audio (remove mistakes, long pauses, filler words when appropriate, and improve overall audio quality). Most likely 20-45 mins per episode

• Edit guided meditation recordings and other short-form audio content (mostly 3-5 minute bits)

• Balance audio levels and reduce background noise

• Add intro/outro music when provided

• Export audio in the correct format for podcast hosting and digital downloads

• Organize and label finished files

• Deliver projects on time

• Test exported files before delivery

I'll provide the raw recordings, branding, music (when applicable), and overall direction. Your role is to professionally edit the content while maintaining a natural, authentic feel.

My goal is for my content to feel calm, approachable, polished, and easy to listen to—not overly produced or artificial.

I'm looking for someone who is proactive, communicates well, has a strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Audio leveling/mastering
Experience with podcast production
Organized file management
Fluent written English
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow a consistent editing style

Bonus Skills

Experience editing guided meditations, mindfulness, or wellness content
Familiarity with Ferrite, Adobe Audition, Audacity, Logic Pro, GarageBand, or similar software
Experience with podcast hosting platforms
Basic video editing experience (not required but a plus for future projects if we develop a long term working relationship)
