We run a plumbing company in the US and we need a dispatcher who can be the friendly voice our customers hear first. Someone who picks up fast, calms people down, and gets them booked. If you like talking to people and you like keeping things organized, this is a good fit.
What you do each shift:
- Answer inbound calls. Callers are homeowners with a plumbing problem and they want help now.
- Find out what is wrong. Get their name, phone,
- Offer an arrival window and book the appointment in our CRM.
- Reply to text and web leads within minutes.
- Call back every missed call.
- Confirm, reschedule, or cancel jobs when customers ask.
- Send invoices at the end of the day.
- Leave clear notes for the next shift.
You do not give prices and you do not sell. You listen, you help, you book.
Hours:
- Shifts fall between 7am and 8pm US Central time, Monday to Saturday.
- 40 to 48 hours per week. Same shift, same days every week, so you can plan your life around it.
- Sundays off.
Pay:
- $5 per hour to start.
- Plus commission on every job you book that gets done. Book more, earn more.
What we are looking for:
- A neutral English accent. Our callers should feel like they are talking to someone local. This is the main thing we screen for.
- A calm, warm phone voice. You can talk to a stressed homeowner and make them feel taken care of.
- Fast typing. You take notes while you talk.
- Quiet room, headset, stable internet, backup power, backup internet.
- Reliable. Customers call all day and someone has to pick up.
Experience with dispatch, phone support, appointment setting, or home services helps, but we will train you on everything. Attitude and voice matter more than a resume.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
