The Mission
Build and own the workflow orchestration backbone.
You'll be responsible for the systems that make everything else possible—reliable, scalable, and resilient infrastructure that processes thousands of jobs without breaking a sweat.
What You'll Do
Design and implement stateful workflow execution systems
Own job lifecycle management from start to finish
Build bulletproof retry logic, timeout handling, and failure recovery
Optimize for throughput and cost efficiency
Ensure systems gracefully handle edge cases and failures
Document and maintain critical infrastructure
What We're Looking For
3+ years of backend/platform engineering experience
Strong experience with workflow orchestration (Temporal, Airflow, Step Functions, or similar)
Deep understanding of distributed systems and state management
Experience building fault-tolerant systems with retry logic and error handling
Proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js
Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architecture
Bonus Points:
Experience with high-throughput systems
Background in e-commerce or marketing tech
Kubernetes/containerization experience
You've been on-call and know what it means to build systems that let you sleep

Compensation & Benefits
???? Monthly Salary: $2,000/month
Plus:
Monthly performance bonuses tied to company Operating Profit (5-25% of salary)
Quarterly profit pool distribution (2-7.5% of company profits shared among team)
