Plaintiff Personal Injury Case Manager (Pre-Suit) – Remote
Location: Remote (Philippines-based candidates welcome)
Schedule: Full-time | Must work U.S. Eastern Time (Atlanta, GA)

Reports To: Managing / Pre-Suit Attorney
About the Role
We are a U.S.-based plaintiff personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Pre-Suit Case Manager to manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement and close-out.
You will be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for coordinating treatment, managing insurance claims, preparing demand packages, and ensuring deadlines and documentation are handled accurately—all while working closely with U.S. attorneys.
This is a long-term, stable role for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Case Management
• Serve as the primary client contact via phone,
• Onboard new clients and clearly set expectations
• Provide regular case updates with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain organized, detailed case notes and next actions in the case management system
Insurance Claims & Coverage
• Open and manage Bodily Injury, MedPay/PIP (if applicable), and UM/UIM claims
• Obtain declarations pages, policy limits, and adjuster information
• Request, track, and file UM/UIM Selection/Rejection Letters for applicable policies
• Ensure complete and timely coverage verification
Deadlines & Compliance
• Calendar and track Georgia deadlines, including:
o 2-year statute of limitations
o Municipal/ante litem notice deadlines (when applicable)
• Maintain zero missed deadlines and accurate documentation
Medical Treatment & Records
• Coordinate medical provider referrals under attorney direction
• Monitor treatment progress and MMI status
• Request, track, and quality-check HIPAA-compliant medical records and bills
Liens & Subrogation
• Open and manage Medicaid, Medicare, ERISA, and private health insurance liens
• Obtain final lien demands and assist with reductions
Demands, Settlement & Close-Out
• Prepare polished demand packages, including:
o Liability summaries
o Damages narratives
o Medical specials spreadsheets
o Supporting exhibits
• Support settlement negotiations under attorney supervision
• Process settlements, releases, disbursements, and case close-out checklists
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
• Time from assignment to demand and settlement
• Coverage completeness (UM/UIM letters and verified limits within 30 days)
• Medical records turnaround time and first-pass completeness
• Zero missed deadlines and clean CRM documentation
KPI tracking is used for performance support and bonus eligibility—not micromanagement.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury pre-suit case management experience
• Georgia PI experience strongly preferred (or willingness to learn GA-specific rules)
• Working knowledge of:
o UM/UIM, MedPay/PIP
o Medical billing and terminology
o Liens and subrogation
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and tech-savvy
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
Technology & Tools
• Experience with at least one PI case management system (e.g., Filevine, Needles, SmartAdvocate, Lead Docket)
• Comfortable with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
• Familiar with e-fax, e-signature tools, and VOIP systems
(Training provided for firm-specific tools.)
