We are looking for a Physician Assistant to work closely under the supervision of a foreign physician. This role is focused on ensuring accurate and timely medical documentation—such as recording patient histories, scribing during consultations, and carrying out the physician’s orders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to supporting high-quality patient care. We welcome someone who is not only trained in examining and diagnosing but is also comfortable with technology, enjoys working on the back end with medical records, and values accuracy as much as patient well-being.
Physician Assistant Responsibilities:
- Monitor all incoming messages, respond to inquiries from home care policy and clinic, and prepare/complete patient notes.
- Create and finalize medical notes, ensuring that nurses follow up on care and address all routine patient questions.
- Accompany healthcare providers during patient encounters and accurately document visit details in real time.
- Record patient medical histories, examination findings, procedures, and treatment plans in the EHR under the physician’s direction.
- Coordinate patient care by communicating with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Support the physician by helping optimize patient encounters and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow.
- Collaborate closely with the team, including the head of operations.
- Attend live rounds with the physician.
- Perform other related medical and administrative tasks as assigned.
Physician Assistant Requirements:
- Licensed Doctor of Medicine in the Philippines (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience handling adult patients.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Available to work during US Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
- Permanent work-from-home setup with a reliable internet connection.
- Full-time role with long-term commitment.
Willing to start immediately.
