Personal Injury Case Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with a 1-hour break
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to support an established legal team by managing personal injury cases from intake through settlement. This role requires a professional who understands the complexities of personal injury workflows, can work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborates effectively with attorneys to ensure smooth case progression and positive client outcomes. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage personal injury cases through all phases: intake, treatment, demand, negotiation, and settlement
Handle property damage claims and coordinate repairs/rentals with insurance carriers
Oversee medical treatment coordination, including scheduling appointments and tracking progress
Maintain regular client communication regarding case status, medical treatment, and settlement offers
Manage case-related correspondence with medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel
Review medical records, bills, and liens to prepare comprehensive settlement demands
Organize and maintain detailed case files in our cloud-based case management system
Support attorneys during settlement negotiations, as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bilingual is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 1–2 years of personal injury case management experience
Proven ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision
Strong understanding of personal injury case workflows, medical terminology, and insurance processes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including interaction with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
Superior organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
Outstanding customer service orientation
Proficiency in case management software such as Filevine, MyCase, CASEpeer, or similar platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and cloud-based document management systems
Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates with equivalent relevant experience will be considered
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
