I’m looking for a sharp, proactive Reels Content Strategist to take full ownership of short-form content. Your role is simple: make sure we never run out of good ideas, and that everything we post is optimized to perform.
You will be responsible for sourcing inspiration, organizing ideas, planning weekly content, editing videos, and telling me exactly what to film.
Core Responsibilities
Continuously research and collect high-performing content ideas (Reels/TikTok)
Build and maintain a structured database of:
Viral content
Competitor content
New concepts and angles
Plan weekly content (hooks, concepts, structure)
Clearly brief me on what to film (scripts, angles, shots, B-roll)
Edit videos into engaging, high-retention Reels
Improve content based on performance (iterate fast)
Stay on top of trends and adapt them to our niche
What You’ll Actually Do (Day-to-Day)
Send daily/weekly inspiration ideas
Update content tracker (Notion/Sheets)
Plan upcoming Reels based on proven formats
Deliver clear filming instructions (no guesswork)
Edit Reels with strong hooks, pacing, and captions
Suggest improvements based on analytics
Requirements
Strong understanding of viral short-form content
Experience editing Reels/TikToks (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
Ability to identify patterns in high-performing content
Organized and detail-oriented (you will manage the content system)
Good English communication
Self-starter — no hand-holding
Nice to Have
Experience working with creators or e-commerce brands
Understanding of storytelling, hooks, and retention tactics
Familiarity with content tracking tools (Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets)
Compensation
Depends on experience (to be discussed)
