Personal Assistant to CEO (Social Media Marketing Company)
About the Role
We’re hiring a Personal Assistant to work directly with the CEO of a social media marketing company. This role follows the “Buy Back Your Time” model — your job is to take tasks off the CEO’s plate so they can focus on high-value work.
Requirements
• 4+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant
• 4+ years of experience working with a social media marketing agency
• Prior experience supporting a CEO or executive with a significant social media presence (50,000+ followers)
• Excellent, fast written communication — able to reply within minutes, not hours
• Comfortable taking phone calls
Responsibilities
• Respond to messages and emails (including recruiting outreach) on the CEO’s behalf
• Conduct research for ongoing projects
• Compile and organize lead lists
• Manage social accounts (e.g., reviewing/unfollowing non-followers, general upkeep)
• Take calls as needed
• Provide general day-to-day support to free up the CEO’s time
Availability
• Core hours similar to 10 AM–10 PM Eastern Time (flexible, not fixed)
• Must be reachable and responsive outside standard hours when needed (e.g., late evening messages)
• Fast response time is a top priority — this is not a 24–48 hour turnaround role
Compensation
• Starting pay: $600/month
• One-week paid trial to start
• Strong trial performance leads to an ongoing role, paid weekly
