About Make Mine:
Make Mine Studio is a performance-led creative studio specialising in high-volume paid social video ads for modern consumer brands. We do not create cinematic brand films. We create fast, clear, conversion-focused video content designed to perform on platforms like Meta and TikTok.

We are building a fully remote, highly systemised editing team and are looking for editors who want to become specialists in performance advertising.

The role:
We are hiring Performance Video Editors to produce large volumes of paid social ad creatives using our internal editing system, templates, and workflows. You will not be expected to invent strategy or concepts. You will be executing clearly defined briefs, scripts, and creative structures at speed and with consistency.

This role is ideal for editors who enjoy:
- structured workflows
- clear standards
- repeatable output
- improving pace, clarity, and performance of ads

You will primarily be editing:
- short-form paid ads (9:16 and 4:5)
- UGC-style content
- voice-over driven ads (VSLs)
- product and lifestyle b-roll edits
- hook variations for performance testing

Key responsibilities:
- Log into our remote Mac editing stations
- Edit paid ad assets using our internal SOP and file structure
- Organise rushes into structured timelines
- Build base ad assets from scripts and voiceovers
- Tighten pacing aggressively for paid media
- Structure ads for b-roll placement
- Add music and SFX from our internal libraries
- Create and style subtitles to brand standards
- Build multiple hook versions for each asset
- Export assets in multiple formats and dimensions
- Follow naming, versioning, and folder conventions
- Complete a pre-review checklist before requesting sign-off
- Deliver assets and post clear delivery notes in Slack

Required skills:
- be very confident in Adobe Premiere Pro
- be comfortable working with short-form vertical video
- understand how to cut fast, clean dialogue edits
- be able to tighten pacing and remove dead time
- be comfortable working to strict technical standards
- follow systems and processes accurately
- be organised and detail-focused
- communicate clearly in written English
- be reliable with deadlines

Nice to have (not essential):
- experience editing paid ads or performance content
- experience with UGC or creator-style footage
- basic colour correction knowledge

Training and onboarding:
We will provide
- paid training at your agreed day rate
- a full internal editing playbook
- example projects
- reference libraries of high-performing ads
- step-by-step editing workflows
- ongoing feedback and support

Editors must be available to work within overlapping UK business hours for handovers and communication.
