JOB OVERVIEW

Performance Video Editor – Facebook & Instagram Ads

We are a fast-growing Scandinavian e-commerce company looking for a talented Performance Video Editor to join our team long-term and create high-converting Facebook & Instagram ads.

This is NOT a social media content editing position.

We are looking for someone who understands direct-response advertising and knows how to create videos that grab attention, keep viewers watching, and drive purchases.

What You'll Be Creating
UGC-style Meta ads
Direct-response video ads
Product demonstration ads
VSL / mini-VSL ads
New hooks and variations of winning creatives
B-roll based creatives

You will usually receive scripts, raw footage, voiceovers, references, and creative direction.

You should also be comfortable finding additional B-roll, stock footage, images, sound effects, and other assets when needed.

What We're Looking For

You should understand:

Strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds
Fast pacing and retention
Pattern interrupts
Problem → solution structures
Visual proof and demonstrations
Testimonials and social proof
Calls to action

We care much more about ads that convert than videos that simply look beautiful.

Experience editing Meta/Facebook direct-response ads
Experience with DTC/e-commerce brands
Strong video editing skills
Good written English for communication
Strong attention to detail when working with scripts, subtitles, and on-screen text
Ability to follow provided scripts and copy exactly
Reliable communication

Experience with AI creative tools such as Higgsfield, Seedance, Veo, Kling or similar is a strong plus.

You do not need to speak Norwegian. Norwegian copy and translations will be provided when necessary.
