JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a top level Performance Marketing Ads Video Editor who understands how to create ads that drive action, not just look good.

This is not a branding role.
This is not cinematic filmmaking.
This is about building conversion focused, scroll stopping ads that generate ROI.

You must understand paid media, buyer psychology, fast testing cycles, and how to structure ads that perform on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Reels.

If you have not edited ads specifically for performance marketing and direct response, this role is not a fit.

What success looks like in this role
• You consistently produce ads that drive strong click through rate, engagement, and conversions
• Your edits are optimized for Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads, and Reels
• You understand hooks, pacing, retention, curiosity, and emotional triggers
• You produce multiple variations from a single concept for testing
• You iterate based on performance data, not personal taste
• You work fast while maintaining high output quality

What You Will Do
• Edit high performing ads for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Turn scripts, raw footage, or concepts into compelling direct response ads
• Add strong hooks, pattern interrupts, open loops, and emotional drivers
• Produce multiple variations for creative testing
• Add captions, dynamic text, pacing, b roll, transitions, and effects that increase retention
• Repurpose long form content into short form ads
• Collaborate with the marketing team on hooks, angles, messaging, and iterations

Required Skills
Editing
• Strong CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent
• Deep experience editing short form ads for paid media
• Ability to create fast paced ads that hold attention and drive action
• Ability to structure an ad narrative that sells

Performance Marketing Understanding
• Deep understanding of hooks, pattern interrupts, and open loops
• Strong grasp of buyer psychology and emotional triggers
• Experience improving creatives based on performance feedback
• Understanding of what makes ads convert, not just look good

Nice to Have
• Experience with UGC style ads
• Motion text and light motion graphics skills
• Understanding of platform specs and ad formats
• Familiarity with Meta Ads and TikTok ad performance metrics
