About Auri
Auri Nutrition makes functional mushroom supplements that taste good enough to actually take every day.
Gummies and elixirs — Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, Chaga and more — built as the antidote to bitter
powders and horse-pill capsules.

1M+ customers. 3rd-party tested by Eurofins. Made in a cGMP-certified facility in the USA. 60-day money-
back guarantee. We grew on paid social and UGC, and creative is still the single biggest lever on the
business.

The role
We’re hiring a copy-led Performance Creative Strategist — the person who d ---------- what we say, to whom,
and why, writes the briefs that get it made, and then tracks what the work actually did in the ad account.

Two things sit at the center of this job: shipping briefs and performance tracking. You’ll mine reviews and
customer language for angles, map them to our persona system, write hooks and full scripts, brief creators
and designers for both video and static, then read the numbers and d ---------- what gets killed, iterated, or
scaled. You’ll also help keep the creative team and pipeline moving day to day.

If you get a strange thrill out of a hook rate jumping 8 points because you rewrote nine words, keep reading.

Your KPIs
Two numbers define success in this role:
1. Ad spend behind your creative — how much spend the work you brief can profitably carry. Winning
creative earns budget; that’s the scoreboard.
2. Number of briefs shipped — consistent, high-quality volume every week, across video and static.
Volume is how we find winners.

Everything else — hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS — is how you move those two.

What you’ll actually do
Concepting and copywriting
• Write hooks in volume — 3–6 meaningful variations per concept, not one-word tweaks
• Write full UGC and VSL scripts (hook / body / CTA), plus static headlines and primary text
• Build new angles from raw source material: 10,000+ customer reviews, comment sections, support
tickets, Amazon and Reddit
• Reformat proven winners through new hook structures — our highest-yield play, and yours to run

Briefing — video and static
• Video / UGC briefs: reference video, casting notes, beat-by-beat script, hook variations, on-screen text,
shot list, do’s and don’ts
• Static briefs: concept and layout direction, headline and subhead, image or comparison logic, badges
and proof points, and a clear reference for the designer to build against
• Match psychographic persona (what to say) to cohort persona (who we show saying it) — e.g. hook
from The Burned Out Mom, casting from The Community Guardian
• Give creators, editors and designers feedback on drafts and cuts so the work comes back usable the first
time
• Keep everything moving in Notion (Creator Briefs → Creator Production → Ad Production Pipeline)

Performance tracking and iteration
• Live in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager and Motion. Know hook rate, hold rate, thumbstop,
CTR, CPA and ROAS by creative — and be able to explain why a piece won
• Separate a hook problem from a body problem from an offer problem, and fix the right one
• Run a real testing cadence: hypothesis → variations → read → next round
• Report weekly on what shipped, what’s scaling, what died and what we learned
• Maintain the creative library so nobody re-tests a losing angle six months from now

Research
• Competitor teardowns in functional mushroom, nootropic and adjacent supplement categories — what
they’re running, how long it’s been live, and what that tells us
• Build and maintain a swipe file of winners inside and outside category
• Bring back cultural and platform trends early enough to be useful, not after they’ve peaked

Supporting the team
• Help keep the creative calendar and production pipeline on schedule — know what’s in brief, in shoot,
in edit and in review, and unblock what’s stuck
• Help manage the creator roster: sourcing, onboarding, scheduling and quality bar
• Give clear direction to editors and designers — one round of feedback where possible, no mystery
revisions
• Help set the templates and standards the rest of the team works from as we grow

Compliance
• Write claims that hold up. Supplement copy means structure/function language, asterisks, and no
disease claims — you’ll learn our guardrails fast and flag anything borderline before it ships, not after

What success looks like
• First 30 days: you know our persona system, our ad library, our top 20 performers and why they work.
Your first briefs are shipped.
• First 90 days: you own the weekly brief output across video and static, plus the testing calendar. At
least one net-new concept you wrote is scaling.
• Ongoing: consistent brief volume every week, growing spend behind creative you briefed, and clear
documented learnings from every test round.

What we’re looking for
Must-haves
• 3+ years writing direct-response copy for DTC brands on Meta and/or TikTok, with a portfolio of ads
that actually ran and numbers you can talk about
• Genuinely strong writer. Plain language, short sentences, real voice. You can write a hook that sounds
like a person, not a brand
• Experience briefing both video/UGC and static — you can write a script and you can direct a designer
• You can read a creative report and form an opinion, not just recite it
• Comfortable working with creators, editors and designers. Direct, kind feedback, and you keep things
on schedule without being chased
• Fast. Volume matters in this seat — you’d rather ship 15 hooks today than perfect 3 by Friday
• Able to hold the 4-hour US overlap consistently

Nice-to-haves
• Supplements, wellness or health experience, and familiarity with claims compliance
• You’ve read Breakthrough Advertising (and can tell us which chapter you actually disagree with)
• Basic editing ability (CapCut / Premiere) — enough to cut a hook test yourself
• Notion, Motion, Foreplay or similar
• Comfortable using AI as a volume multiplier while keeping the judgment human

How to apply
Send your cover letter with all four of the following:
1. Your portfolio — ads and briefs you’ve written.
2. A Loom video walking us through 2–3 campaigns you created: what you made, what the results were,
and why you think it worked (or didn’t).
3. A short exercise — build one campaign or brief you think would work for Auri. Your pick of product,
persona and angle. Keep it tight; we’re looking at your thinking, not your slide design.
4. Why should we hire you? A few honest sentences. No cover letter necessary.

Applications missing any of the four won’t be reviewed
