JOB OVERVIEW

About Us

[vrsn] is a Hong Kong-based footwear brand redefining what pain-relief shoes can be: functional, stylish, and built for everyday life. After a successful Kickstarter launch ( ---------- ) in 2024, we’re building out our global eCommerce business at [vrsn.co] ( ---------- ).

The Role

We’re looking for a Performance Creative Strategist to develop and oversee ad concepts from idea to launch. Your goal is simple: create ads that grab attention and drive revenue. This role blends creative ideation, structured testing, and close collaboration with editors, designers, and media buyers to turn concepts into high-performing campaigns.

What You’ll Do

- Research trends, competitors, and performance data to generate ad concepts, and maintain a balanced pipeline of both best-practice and outside-the-box ideas
- Write scripts, outlines, and briefs for UGC creators, editors, and designers, and collaborate during production to ensure concepts are executed effectively
- Partner with the media buyer to hand off creative, review results, and join feedback loops to identify what’s working and refine future concepts

What We’re Looking For

- 2–5 years experience in performance creative strategy for paid social (Meta/TikTok), either agency or in-house, ideally with DTC/eCommerce brands
- Working knowledge of ad operations, testing cadence, and how creative scales on Meta — you understand creative testing frameworks, fatigue curves, and what it takes to move metrics like CTR, hook rates and ultimately CPA/ROAS
- Strong mix of creativity and analytical rigor: able to propose fresh concepts and back them with data-driven rationale
- Experience scripting UGC content, briefing creators/editors, and collaborating hands-on with creative teams
- Passion for testing, learning, and iterating quickly; excellent communicator and collaborator

**Nice to Have**

- Active user of AI tools and workflows (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, etc.) to accelerate ideation, scripting, research, and production — you look for ways to use AI to do better work, faster
- Experience across multiple ad platforms (TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

To Apply

Please share:

- A portfolio or case studies showing ad concepts you’ve developed and the results they achieved
- A short note on how you approach balancing data-driven rationale with creative “outside the box” thinking
- (Optional) One example of how you've used AI tools to improve your creative workflow
