About the Role
Aureus Financial is a multi-division financial services and education group serving seven and eight-figure business owners across Australia. We have a team of 65-plus people across education, wealth advice, accounting, mortgage broking, and property. We move fast, hold high standards, and we are scaling.
We have split our HR function into internal and external. This role owns internal HR completely. Within 30 to 60 days of you starting, you will hire a People & Culture Coordinator who handles execution. Your job is to build the system, lead that person, and partner with our department heads to embed performance culture across the business.
Performance management at Aureus is a collaboration. You design the framework and the cadence. Department heads run the conversations with their teams. You hold them accountable to the schedule and the standard. This is the model — you need to be able to build it and make it stick without being heavy-handed.

What You Will Own
Pillar 1 — Team Leadership & HR Systems
Hire and lead a People & Culture Coordinator within your first 60 days
Design every HR process so it is a documented, repeatable system your Coordinator can run
Own compliance across all HR platforms and employment documentation
Pillar 2 — Talent Acquisition & Performance Framework
Accountable for all hiring outcomes — your Coordinator handles execution, you set the standard
Build the monthly performance review framework and partner with department heads to run it — they own the conversations, you own the system
Design KPI scorecards for every role and train department heads to use them
Pillar 3 — Culture & Strategic Leadership
Engagement initiatives measured by retention and satisfaction scores — not activity
Workforce planning and succession with the executive team
Act as trusted advisor to department heads on people challenges
How We Measure Success
P&C Coordinator hired and operating within 60 days
Monthly performance review cycle running across all divisions with department heads facilitating
Roles filled in under 30 days, every time
Friday Self Assessment completion above 90% with weekly trend reports actioned
Zero employment compliance breaches
Employee satisfaction above 4 out of 5 on quarterly surveys
This Role Is For You If
You have led HR in a 65+ person, multi-entity, fast-moving environment and thrived without hand-holding
You have built HR frameworks from scratch and then trained others to run them
You are comfortable influencing department heads who do not report to you
You know how to hire well — and can build a process that finds A-players consistently
You measure your work by business outcomes: retention, review completion, time-to-fill — not activity
This Role Is NOT For You If
You want to be the one running every review, handling every HR ticket, and staying in execution permanently
You have not been a HR leader in a 65+ person organization
You struggle to influence stakeholders who do not report to you
You have never led or managed a direct report
You have only maintained HR systems — never designed one from the ground up
You need to be told what to work on each week
Base Salary: PHP 100,
Work Style: Fully remote
Hours: Aligned to Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)
