We are looking for multiple highly organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented Patient Intake Specialist to join our remote team.

As a Patient Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients. You will call out to patients to confirm their appointments, answer questions about the program and help patients feel supported from their very first interaction with us.

This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, excels in phone based work and comfortable working with U.S. healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct intake calls with new patients (phone + occasional email/SMS follow-up)
Collect and document accurate patient demographics and medical information
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Ensure all required forms and documentation are completed
Enter data accurately into internal systems
Flag urgent or complex cases to supervisors
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
Follow SOPs while maintaining a warm and empathetic tone

Requirements
2+ years experience in healthcare intake, medical virtual assistance, or insurance verification
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience handling U.S. patients preferred
Familiarity with U.S. insurance types (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial plans, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working during U.S. business hours
Stable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)
Quiet, professional work environment
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems quickly
