Job Title: Virtual Patient Coordinator Contractor

Schedule: Full-time | U.S. Eastern Time Hours (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST)

Role Summary:
As our Virtual Patient Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the daily administrative and billing operations of our mental health practice. The right candidate is HIPAA certified, fluent in English, self-motivated, and has prior experience working in U.S.-based healthcare or behavioral health settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments through EMR and phone/email communication.
• Collect and verify patient demographics, insurance details, and medical history accurately.
• Perform insurance verifications and assist with billing tasks (e.g., claims follow-up, patient balances).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate with U.S.-based clinicians and staff to ensure smooth communication and scheduling.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a Virtual Assistant in a U.S. medical or behavioral health practice.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); strong communication and phone skills required.
• HIPAA certified (must provide documentation upon request).
• Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Solid understanding of U.S. insurance processes and patient billing practices.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated, quiet home office environment.
