Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Patent Attorney or Patent Agent with U.S. patent experience to assist with a confidential intellectual property project.

Due to the confidential nature of this opportunity, specific invention details will not be disclosed until a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been executed.

The selected professional may assist with:

* Patentability and prior art research
* Patent strategy and intellectual property protection planning
* Review of existing provisional patent applications
* Preparation and drafting of U.S. patent applications
* Claim drafting and claim refinement
* USPTO filing guidance
* Patent portfolio development
* Intellectual property risk assessment
* Patent prosecution support and responses

Required Qualifications

* Experience drafting and/or prosecuting U.S. patent applications
* Strong understanding of USPTO procedures
* Ability to conduct patentability and prior art searches
* Excellent written English communication skills
* Experience working with inventors, startups, or product developers
* Ability to work under strict confidentiality requirements
* Willingness to execute a Mutual NDA before receiving project details

* Registered U.S. Patent Attorney
* Registered U.S. Patent Agent
* Mechanical, consumer product, engineering, rehabilitation, sports performance, or medical device experience
* Experience reviewing provisional applications and preparing non-provisional filings
* Experience with patent portfolio strategy
