JOB OVERVIEW

Majestic Event Group LLC is a growing U.S.-based wedding and event-services company located in Georgia. We provide wedding and event photography, videography, DJ services, photo booths, event rentals, and related event-service packages.

We are hiring a detail-oriented Part-Time Wedding Photo Post-Production QC Assistant to help complete the final quality-control stage of our photography workflow.

This is not primarily a full RAW wedding-editing position.

Our wedding and event photographs are generally culled and receive an initial editing/color-correction workflow before being assigned to this position. We currently use tools and services including Aftershoot, Evolve, and Adobe Lightroom Classic.

Your responsibility will be to review the nearly completed gallery, identify inconsistencies, make approved corrections, organize the finished files, and prepare the gallery for final owner review and client delivery.

The goal is to significantly reduce the amount of repetitive post-production work that must be completed by the photographer while maintaining a consistent established brand look.

Approximately 5 hours per week on average
Part-time, ongoing position
Initial 30-day paid trial
Work is primarily deadline and project based
Most hours may be completed on a flexible schedule

Additional hours require prior approval

Starting Compensation

$4.50 USD per hour
Average initial workload of up to approximately 5 hours per week
Approximately $97 USD per month at the initial average workload
Initial 30-day paid trial
Opportunity for additional project hours and increased responsibility after proven quality and reliability

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain consistent and natural skin tones throughout the gallery
Review indoor, outdoor, flash, reception, ceremony, and mixed-lighting photographs
Crop and straighten photographs when needed
Identify obvious duplicates or unnecessary repeated images
Flag questionable images rather than deleting important wedding ---------- nts without approval
Create approved black-and-white versions when appropriate
Identify hero images that may require advanced retouching
Flag difficult photographs that require Photoshop or owner review
Review image sequencing and gallery organization
Verify filenames and folder organization
Verify approved export settings
Export completed galleries when instructed
Complete the final photography quality-control checklist
Return all catalogs, project files, exports, and notes using the required company folder structure

This Position Is NOT Responsible For

Creating a new photography style for our company
Applying random presets
Completely changing the established color grade
Heavy Photoshop manipulation unless specifically assigned
D ---------- independently to remove important wedding ---------- nts
Posting client photographs publicly
Contacting our clients

You must be able to follow an existing style consistently, even if your personal editing preference is different.

What We Are Looking For

We want someone who can look through a nearly completed wedding gallery and notice problems such as:

One photograph suddenly being much darker than the surrounding photographs
Skin tones changing significantly between photographs
Incorrect white balance
Strong green, yellow, orange, or magenta color casts
Crooked horizons
Poor crops
Duplicate images
Inconsistent black-and-white conversions
Incorrect export settings
Missing files or incorrectly organized folders

Attention to detail is more important than editing speed.

Required Qualifications

Strong experience with Adobe Lightroom Classic
Previous wedding, portrait, or event photo-editing experience
Strong understanding of exposure and white balance
Ability to maintain consistent skin tones
Experience working with both natural light and flash photography
Good understanding of mixed-lighting situations
Strong cropping and composition judgment
Excellent file-management skills
Reliable computer capable of handling Lightroom catalogs
Reliable high-speed internet
Ability to download and upload large photography files
Able to work independently and follow detailed written instructions
Strong attention to detail

Experience with wedding photography is strongly preferred.

Experience with Photoshop, Aftershoot, or other photography post-production tools is a plus.

Privacy and Confidentiality Requirements

Wedding and event photographs are confidential client files.

Client photographs may not be:

Posted to your personal social-media accounts
Added to your portfolio without written authorization
Shared with other people
Sold or distributed
Used to train personal AI systems
Uploaded to unauthorized public AI services
Subcontracted to another editor
Used for any purpose outside assigned Majestic Event Group LLC work

All original files, Lightroom catalogs, edits, exports, and project files remain company property.

Performance Expectations

Complete assigned projects by the agreed deadline
Maintain the established Majestic Event Group photography style
Return properly organized files
Follow the provided QC checklist
Avoid unnecessary changes to photographs that are already correct
Flag difficult images instead of guessing
Reduce the amount of correction required during owner review
Maintain complete confidentiality

Our goal is for the owner's final gallery review to eventually take approximately 10–15 minutes, rather than requiring extensive additional editing.

10. Confirm that you agree not to post, share, use, or subcontract client images without written authorization.
