JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Website & SEO Manager to support ongoing website operations, content publishing, and media updates for a growing biotech company.

This role combines WordPress management, SEO execution, and light video editing. You will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality website experience and supporting ongoing content and marketing initiatives.

This is a long-term opportunity with consistent weekly work and the ability to grow into a larger role.

Core Responsibilities:

Website Management (WordPress)
• Publish and format blog posts and pages
• Maintain clean, professional layout and structure across the site
• Update content, menus, links, and page sections as needed
• Ensure consistency in formatting, spacing, and visual presentation

SEO Ownership & Execution
• Apply SEO best practices across all content (on-page SEO, keyword usage, metadata, internal linking)
• Support and help guide overall SEO direction (not just execution)
• Monitor performance using tools like Google Search Console or similar platforms
• Continuously improve content visibility and search performance

Media & Video Editing (After Effects Required)
• Make light edits to video files using Adobe After Effects (text overlays, labels, minor updates)
• Export and optimize video content for web use
• Assist with embedding and formatting media on the website
• Ensure all media aligns with brand and performance standards

Client Coordination
• Communicate directly with stakeholders via email or messaging
• Manage tasks independently and follow through without constant oversight
• Ask questions when needed, but take ownership of execution

Requirements:
• Strong written and spoken English (mandatory)
• Proven experience with WordPress (WPBakery or similar builders preferred)
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals (not limited to any single tool)
• Basic experience with Adobe After Effects (ability to make simple edits and export files)
• High attention to detail (formatting, layout, and quality control)
• Ability to work independently and manage recurring responsibilities
• Reliable, responsive, and organized

Nice to Have (Not Required):
• Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, or other SEO tools
• Basic marketing knowledge (content strategy, campaigns, conversion optimization)
• Experience working with biotech, health, or technical content
• Familiarity with image editing tools (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)

Work Details:
• Hours: 1–4 hours per week (depending on workload)
• Rate: $5/hour
• Fully remote
• Flexible schedule, but deadlines must be met

• Blog posts are consistently published, formatted, and optimized
• Website maintains a clean, professional, and high-performing experience
• SEO improvements are ongoing and measurable over time
• Media (including video) is properly edited, uploaded, and integrated
• Minimal supervision required after onboarding
