JOB OVERVIEW

Hi! I'm Adam. I run an established US-based content agency that creates content including short social videos for hospitality, travel, and tourism clients - lodging and resorts, craft breweries and distilleries, local attractions and activities, and tourism brands. Our client roster and content volume are growing, and I'm looking to add a dedicated editor to the team for the long term.

WHY THIS IS A GOOD LONG-TERM GIG
- We do all the filming and creative planning. You get pre-selected clips and a written cut sheet telling you which clips, in what order, with timing - so you can do great work without guessing. As trust builds, the briefs get looser, and you get more room to make creative calls
- Consistent volume: 8-12 reels/month now, likely 20-30/month within a year as the agency grows. Strong performers move to a stable part-time monthly salary with 13th month pay
- Payment via Wise (no PayPal fees on your end)
- The timezone is an advantage: I upload footage by 6 PM my time (6 AM PH), you edit during your day, I wake up to drafts

THE WORK
- 60-90 second recap/highlight reels from 4K footage (camera, gimbal, and drone). These are b-roll driven: scenery, places, food, people enjoying themselves. Occasional talking-head or spoken-word content.
- You handle the full edit: assembly from the cut sheet, trimming and beat-syncing to the track, speed and retiming, stabilization, color grading to a supplied reference (source footage is S-Log3 10-bit), titles when briefed, audio mix, and export
- Clean, minimal editing style: simple cuts, natural pacing, restraint. NOT the heavy-transitions, text-everywhere style - if you love that style, this job will frustrate you
- Music is licensed through my Artlist and Motion Array accounts. I'll supply the track with the brief, or ask you to pick options for approval. Never add trending or unlicensed audio to an export

REQUIREMENTS
- Portfolio of vertical Reels/TikTok edits (travel, resort, food/bev, or lifestyle preferred)
- Computer that handles 4K H.265 10-bit files smoothly (M-series Mac or a PC with a modern GPU) - there will be a test clip to confirm
- Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Comfortable color grading log footage to match a reference
- Good written English and reliable communication

HIRING PROCESS
Shortlist > identical paid test edit ($30) > 1-month paid trial > long-term arrangement. I pay for all test work.
