We are looking for a part-time video editor based in the Philippines to help create short-form videos, long-form YouTube videos, travel content, and AI-assisted promo videos for apps.
This role is best for someone who is creative, reliable, fast at editing, and interested in using AI tools to create better content.
## Schedule
Part-time role.
You must be available online from:
**10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Central Time, Monday to Friday**
This is a part-night-shift schedule in the Philippines.
## Main Responsibilities
You will help create and edit:
* Short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
* One long-form YouTube video per week
* Clips from long-form YouTube videos
* Travel videos for Instagram
* AI influencer-style videos for apps and products
* App promo videos and social media ads
* YouTube thumbnails
* Captions, subtitles, hooks, and basic on-screen text
You may also help upload videos to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or other platforms.
## Expected Weekly Output
The target output is approximately:
* 1 long-form YouTube video per week
* 3 to 5 short-form videos per week
* 1 travel-style video per week
* Occasional AI/app promo videos as needed
## Tools You Should Know
Required:
* CapCut
* Canva
* Slack
* Google Drive
* Basic AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini
Nice to have:
* YouTube Studio
* TikTok editing experience
* Instagram Reels experience
* Thumbnail design experience
* AI video tools
* Experience finding
## What We’re Looking For
You should be able to:
* Edit clean, engaging short-form videos
* Add captions, subtitles, sound effects, zooms, cuts, and B-roll
* Find relevant
* Edit long-form YouTube videos with good pacing
* Create thumbnails using Canva, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar tools
* Follow instructions carefully
* Communicate clearly on Slack
* Meet deadlines
* Improve over time based on feedback
* Be comfortable learning new AI tools
## Important Style Notes
We do not want generic, boring edits.
The videos should feel modern, clear, and engaging without being too cheesy, noisy, or over-edited.
Good judgment is important.
## How Work Will Be Assigned
Most tasks will be sent through Slack.
You may receive:
* Raw video footage
* Voiceovers
* Screen recordings
* App footage
* Travel clips
* YouTube video outlines
* Examples of editing styles to follow
* AI-generated assets or prompts
You will be expected to organize your work, ask questions when needed, and send drafts for review.
