About Us:
We are a growing EA (Enrolled Agent) firm based in Flushing, New York. We specialize in Corporate/Individual Tax, Sales/Payroll Tax (primarily NY/NJ), and Virtual CFO advisory.

The Role & Workflow:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time US Tax Preparer (15-20 hours/week).
A key part of your workflow will be converting bank statements to CSV using DocuClipper, importing them into Drake Accounting, and making Adjusting Journal Entries (AJs). We do not heavily rely on QuickBooks/Xero, so a fast learner who can follow our specific workflow is highly welcomed.

Key Responsibilities:

Convert bank statements via DocuClipper and import data into Drake Accounting.

Data entry and basic preparation for Individual (1040) and Corporate (1120, 1120S, 1065) tax returns using Drake Tax Software.

Assist with monthly/quarterly Sales Tax and Payroll Tax data entry (NY and NJ).

Administrative tasks, such as organizing folders and following up on missing documents.

Must-Have Requirements:

Hands-on experience with US Tax Preparation and Drake Software is highly preferred.

Solid understanding of US tax fundamentals.

Accuracy and extreme attention to detail (This is much more important than speed).

Growth Opportunity & Compensation:

Starting Pay: $4 - $5 USD / hour.

Perks: Pro-rated 13th-month bonus provided at the end of the year.

Schedule: Must be available to work during US Eastern Standard Time (EST) regular business hours (e.g., 9 AM - 1 PM EST for Part-Time). This is non-negotiable as real-time communication with the CEO is required.

Huge Growth Potential: Start as a part-timer, but as our firm scales, this role can quickly transition into a Full-Time position. Exceptional performers will be given the opportunity to be promoted to an Offshore Outsourcing Manager, leading and training a team of assistants in the future.
