JOB OVERVIEW

We're a growing e-commerce brand selling physical products online. We're looking for a reliable, self-driven marketing assistant to help us grow our online presence, drive traffic to our website, and build authentic engagement across social media and communities like Reddit.

This is a part-time, ongoing role (~10–20 hours per week) with room to grow as we scale. If you do great work, we want to keep you long term.

What You'll Do

Social Media Management

Plan and schedule content across our social channels
Create and post engaging social media content
Manage our community and respond to comments/messages
Monitor performance and report on what's working

SEO & Website Traffic

Help improve our website's search rankings and organic traffic
Basic on-page SEO, keyword research, and SEO-friendly content
Track performance and share simple, clear reports

Reddit Marketing & Community Growth

Research relevant subreddits where our target customers hang out
Create authentic Reddit posts and engagement that build trust (not spam)
Grow visibility within niche communities without getting flagged

Copywriting

Write scroll-stopping social media captions and ad copy
Write product descriptions, email copy, and occasional blog articles
Craft messaging that fits our brand voice and drives action

Who We're Looking For

Excellent written English (this is essential — you'll be writing public-facing content)
SEO experience — you understand how to help a website rank and grow organic traffic
Experience managing social media for a business or brand
Comfortable with Reddit marketing — you understand Reddit culture and how to promote without getting banned
Strong copywriting skills — persuasive, natural, not robotic
Organized, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
Comfortable using tools like Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite/Later, Google Sheets, Notion or Trello

Nice to Have

Shopify and/or WordPress experience (a big plus)
Experience marketing physical/e-commerce products
Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO) or Google Analytics
A portfolio or examples of social content, SEO work, or copy you've written

Details

Type: Part-time, ongoing (~10–20 hrs/week to start)
Pay: $500–$1,000/month (based on experience and hours) — we pay on time, every time
Schedule: Flexible, but some overlap with US hours preferred
Start: As soon as we find the right fit
