About OpSec
OpSec Consulting is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and low-voltage integration company specializing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) in the U.S. We work on systems like nurse call, wander management, access control, fire alarm, delayed egress, and surveillance, plus fixed-fee IT.
We are hiring one person to operate as our in-house marketing team focused on LinkedIn growth + visibility, plus blog content for SEO, and trade show marketing support.
This is not a basic “schedule posts” job. We need someone who can own the strategy and execution.
What you will do (Responsibilities)
1) LinkedIn strategy + content creation (primary)
* Build our LinkedIn strategy: positioning, content pillars, cadence, voice, goals
* Create a monthly content plan + weekly queue
* Write high-quality LinkedIn posts in a US business tone:
* Thought leadership, educational posts, credibility-building stories
* Security/IT/low-voltage insights for nursing homes and healthcare facilities
* Behind-the-scenes, culture, wins, lessons learned, project highlights
* Turn rough notes / voice messages into polished content with minimal back-and-forth
2) Engagement for reach (daily)
* Comment on posts from my LinkedIn network to increase visibility:
* Comments must be thoughtful and specific (not “Great post!”)
* Aim is to start conversations and build authority
3) Graphic design for LinkedIn
* Design post visuals: carousels, one-pagers, simple diagrams, quote cards
* Create a consistent style using templates (clean + professional)
4) Video content (short-form)
* Create short LinkedIn videos:
* Edits from provided footage (job sites, trade shows, team clips)
* Captions, basic motion graphics, hooks
* Tools like CapCut/Premiere/DaVinci are fine
5) Blog content + SEO (website)
* Write and publish blog posts for our website focused on SEO:
* Keyword-informed topics relevant to SNFs, low voltage, security, and IT
* Clear structure: headings, internal links, meta titles/descriptions, image alt text
* Turn our expertise into search-friendly content that sounds human (not AI spam)
* Coordinate a simple content calendar that supports both LinkedIn + SEO
6) Trade show marketing support (as needed)
* Pre-show + during + post-show content
* Simple handouts / signage concepts / recap posts / follow-up content
7) Reporting + improvement
* Monthly reporting and improvement plan:
* What worked, what didn’t, what to test next
* Focus on reach + engagement + inbound interest (not vanity only)
Expected output (baseline)
This may adjust, but typical targets:
* 2–4 LinkedIn posts per week
* 5–15 high-quality comments per day (or delivered in a daily batch for approval)
* 1–2 graphics/carousels per week
* 2–4 short videos per month (more around events)
* 2–4 SEO blog posts per month (topic length depends on keyword difficulty and intent)
Requirements (Non-negotiable)
* Strong English writing (US business tone, clear, confident, not fluffy)
* Proven LinkedIn content experience (portfolio required)
* Graphic design skills (portfolio required)
* Video editing ability (examples required)
* Can work independently and proactively
* Reliable communication + consistent delivery
SEO experience (BIG PLUS)
* SEO experience is a major advantage. If you have SEO experience, please mention:
* Tools you’ve used (Ahrefs, Semrush, Surfer, Google Search Console, GA4, etc.)
* Examples of blog posts that ranked or increased traffic/leads
* Your process for keyword research + content outlines + on-page SEO
Tools (Preferred)
* Canva/Adobe, CapCut/Premiere/DaVinci, Google Drive, Trello/Asana, basic analytics.
SEO tools are a plus (Search Console / GA4 / Ahrefs / Semrush / Surfer).
IMPORTANT: How to apply (filters out time-wasters)
If you do not follow these instructions, you will NOT be considered.
* Send ONE application message with:
* Portfolio links (LinkedIn work + design + video + blog/SEO if available)
* A short summary of your best results (LinkedIn and/or SEO):
* starting point, what you did, what improved (reach, engagement, followers, traffic, rankings, inbound, etc.)
Answer these questions (copy/paste and reply under each):
* What hours can you work? Can you overlap 30–60 mins with US Eastern Time a few days/week?
* What tools do you use for design and video? What SEO tools (if any)?
