About the Role
We’re looking for a professional, U.S.-company–experienced Social Media Manager and Content Creator to bring the BookBully brand voice to life.
Are you skilled at making short and long form content? Are you self-driven? Are you a committed, reliable, professional hungry to grow in this amazing movement? Can you bring specific, impactful, ideas to the table? And can you function in a team of fast-paced, motivated individuals? If so, listen up!
You’ll be the key driver of our content presence, community growth, and platform strategy, working directly with the founder to execute the 12-month Mentor Mix Roadmap (see below for focus areas). YOU WILL BUILD THIS FROM SCRATCH as in TRUE START-UP ( with support from the team of course).
This is a critical hire! We need someone who is EXPERIENCED, can OWN the strategy and execution while keeping our fearless, high-energy tone consistent across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Content Strategy & Planning
Develop a content calendar that aligns with the 12-month Mentor Mix Roadmap
Q1 foundation & brand voice
? Q2 movement/community
? Q3 positioning & influence
? Q4 discipline & scale
o Identify trending topics, book-related challenges, and viral opportunities.
o Submit meeting agenda items at least 48 hours in advance for weekly strategy calls.
• Platform Management
o Manage and grow all BookBully platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
o Create and post high-impact short-form videos, storytelling posts
o Monitor analytics, track KPIs, and provide performance reports
• Content Creation
o Produce one of a kind Canva graphics and branded visuals that match our esthetic.
• Community Building
o Engage followers through comments, DMs, and challenges
Qualifications
• Proven social media management experience and content creator experience with U.S.-based companies
• Strong grasp of viral short-form content, storytelling, and community growth tactics.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Canva (editing required).
• No other jobs or commitments! This role requires focus and availability.
Work Schedule & Compensation
• Part-Time: 20 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule, but must include some overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) for real-time communication
• Rate: USD per hour.
• Pay Frequency: Twice per month.
• Growth Path: Guaranteed rate increase when moving to full-time status.
