JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced part-time Shopify Store Builder & Launch Specialist to help us create, design, and launch a professional online store for our kids toy e-commerce business.

This role is ideal for someone who knows how to build a clean, trustworthy, high-converting Shopify store from start to finish. Our brand sells kids toys, so the website should feel fun, bright, safe, and parent-friendly while still looking polished and professional.

You will be responsible for setting up the store, designing the pages, organizing products and collections, and making sure everything is ready for launch.

Responsibilities:

Build and set up a complete Shopify store from scratch
Choose and customize a Shopify theme to fit our brand
Create a clean, modern, and high-converting storefront
Design the homepage, product pages, collection pages, about page, contact page, and policy pages
Upload products, product descriptions, images, variants, and pricing
Organize collections and navigation menus
Set up apps needed for reviews, email capture, upsells, bundles, or other conversion tools
Configure store settings, shipping, payment gateways, taxes, and basic policies
Optimize the store for mobile and desktop
Ensure the website loads well and looks professional
Help prepare the store for launch and test that everything is working properly
Follow branding direction and make revisions based on feedback

Requirements:

Proven experience building and launching Shopify stores
Strong understanding of Shopify themes, apps, and store setup
Good design taste with the ability to create a professional and trustworthy brand look
Experience with e-commerce conversion best practices
Experience organizing products and collections properly
Strong attention to detail
Good English communication
Ability to work efficiently in a part-time role and meet deadlines
Bonus if you have experience with kids, family, toy, or consumer product brands

Nice to Have:

Graphic design skills
Copywriting for product pages and homepage sections
Experience with Shopify SEO basics
Experience with Klaviyo or email marketing setup
Experience creating branded banners and visuals

What We’re Looking For:
We want someone who can take initiative and build a store that is not just visually nice, but also ready to convert customers. You should understand what makes an e-commerce store trustworthy and easy to shop. Since this is a kids toy brand, the store should appeal to parents and gift buyers.

This is a part-time role with the potential for ongoing work if it’s a good fit.
