JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Shopify & Ecommerce Virtual Assistant (UK Hours)
Ecommerce Outdoor Living Brand

We are looking for a proactive, reliable Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines to support our growing UK ecommerce business. This is part-time to start (20 hours/week) with strong potential to grow into full-time.

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 1:00pm UK time
$4/hour starting
Long-term, stable opportunity for the right person

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support (Core Role)

Answer all customer calls and live chat enquiries promptly
Handle questions about deliveries, returns, and products
Speak clear, confident English on the phone
Represent the brand calmly, professionally, and solution-focused

Shopify Management

Expert-level Shopify knowledge essential
Upload 6+ products per hour with SEO-friendly descriptions
Organise collections, tags, pricing, and variants accurately
Maintain high data accuracy and quality control before publishing

Email Marketing – Omnisend Expert

Plan, write, schedule, and manage campaigns and automations
Use segmentation, track performance, and optimise results
Excellent written English required
Short grammar test included

Social Media & Content

Schedule daily posts and write engaging captions
Manage Pinterest posting and optimisation, including meta for sales channels
Suggest marketing improvements and maintain consistent brand tone

Inbox & Admin Management

Daily inbox checks and filtering according to SOPs
Liaise with suppliers and escalate urgent issues
Focus on uploads, scheduling, and store improvements during quieter periods

Technical Requirements

Fast, stable internet (min 50 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload)
Backup internet preferred
Quiet working space for phone calls
Quality headset and microphone
Screenshot of internet speed required

Must-Have Skills & Attributes

Expert Shopify and Omnisend experience
Confident, clear English on phone and in writing
Previous customer-facing experience
Able to work independently and follow SOPs
Proactive, organised, and solution-focused
Experience taking control of Pinterest posting, meta optimisation, and sales channels
Able to work in a quiet environment without distractions
