CLS is a short-term rental business looking for a highly organized, reliable Social Media & Ads Specialist to support our marketing on a part-time, remote basis.
You’ll be responsible for both organic content and paid advertising, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering clear, measurable results — with the primary goal of increasing direct bookings through our CLS website.
What You’ll Do
Social Media Content (Organic):
-Create and post content for
-Design posts using Canva (or similar tools)
-Write engaging captions aligned with our brand voice
-Create a weekly content plan/calendar (posts + stories + reels)
-Submit content for approval before posting (to maintain quality and brand consistency)
-Schedule and publish content consistently every week
-Maintain a clean, professional, and consistent brand presence
-Post Instagram Stories multiple times per week
-Create short-form Reels (e.g. property features, guest reviews, local Brisbane tips, promotions)
-Engage with comments and messages on
-Review weekly content performance and suggest improvements
Paid Advertising (Meta & Google)
-Set up, manage, and
-Create and manage Google Ads campaigns
-Test different audiences, creatives, and messaging
-Monitor ad performance and adjust targeting, creatives, and budgets
-Ensure ad spend is used efficiently and focused on direct booking outcomes
-Report on performance and provide clear insights + next steps
Website + Tracking (Required)
-Ensure tracking is correctly set up and working for performance reporting (or confirm with us if support is needed), including:
-GA4 (Google Analytics)
-Meta Pixel
-Google conversion tracking / Google Tag
-Use UTM tracking links so traffic and conversions from socials + ads can be measured clearly
Performance Expectations (Required)
You must provide weekly and monthly reporting showing improvements in:
-Website traffic from Instagram/Facebook
-Link clicks to our direct booking website
-Enquiries/bookings generated from the CLS website
-Ad performance (cost per click, cost per lead, conversions)
The goal is to increase direct bookings through our CLS website — not just grow followers.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
-Experience managing
-Proven experience running Meta Ads
-Experience setting up and managing Google Ads
-Comfortable using Canva and ad platforms (Meta Business Manager, Google Ads Manager)
-Strong written English and excellent attention to detail
-Highly organised and able to meet deadlines consistently
-Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
-Experience creating social media content for short-term rentals is mandatory
Please share examples of work specifically for short-term rentals (e.g. Airbnb/booking-focused content, promotional posts for properties, campaigns, etc.)
Nice to Have
-Understanding of hospitality, property, or service-based businesses
