JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Graphic Designer, Social-First, for US Consumer Brand (Long Term, 20-25 hrs/week)

Type of work: Part Time

Salary: $600 to $1000 USD per month, depending on experience and portfolio

Hours per week: 20-25

Job description:

HeartStamp is a US greeting card and invitation platform, and we just went to market with something genuinely new. Our assistant Stampy gives everyday people creative designer superpowers. We are witty, stylish, and culturally fluent, the kind of brand that says what people actually feel, and our visuals have to match: bold, modern, internet-native, never bland.

We are looking for one part-time contract graphic designer to own a steady stream of scroll-stopping social graphics. This is a hands-on maker role, not a strategy seat. You will work from written briefs, turn out volume, iterate on what performs, and hold a consistent look across every channel.

This is a long-term role. We are not looking for a one-off project. We want someone who grows into the brand and stays.

What you will make:

Static social posts and carousels for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and X
Pinterest-optimized graphics built for search and discovery
Web and app hero panels, marketing panels, and landing-page visuals
Short-form video edits in CapCut (a strong bonus, see below)

What we are looking for:

-A strong portfolio. This is non-negotiable, do not apply without one. A personal site is ideal, a Dribbble or Behance link works fine.
-Real fluency in Canva and Adobe Photoshop. Premiere is a plus.
-Clean, simple video editing in CapCut. This is a major plus and will move you to the top of the pile.
-Comfort with AI image generation. We are a model-agnostic AI shop and we work heavily with OpenAI's image model and Grok Imagine, so experience prompting, generating, and refining with these, or a clear ability to pick them up fast, matters to us.
-American cultural fluency and a sharp eye for modern, internet-native design. Our audience is US consumers and our humor is US humor.
-Written English at C1 or better.
-Reliable, stable internet and a machine that can actually run Photoshop.

How we work together:

You will work asynchronously off written briefs in Notion, with a daily written check-in. We ask for a 4-hour live overlap window with the US East Coast three days a week, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET, which is 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM Manila time. Outside that window your hours are yours.

One thing we care about more than almost anything else: communication. If you are sick, traveling, or something comes up, tell us. We are genuinely flexible about schedules and we are not flexible about silence. Going dark on us for more than 24 hours without a heads-up ends the engagement.

Pay and terms:

Paid twice a month via Wise or PayPal, on a fixed schedule, no delays. Monthly retainer against an agreed deliverable count. Rate reviewed at 90 days.

How we start:

We begin with one same day small paid test project, one or two real graphics at a set rate of $20 USD, so we can both see how you work in our brand voice before we move to a retainer. It is quick, it is paid, and it is the fastest way for either of us to know if this is a fit.

To apply:

Send your portfolio link and one sentence on your favorite recent piece and why. Put the word STAMPY at the top of your application so we know you read this all the way through. Applications without a portfolio link will not be reviewed. No agencies, no BPOs, no teams. We are hiring one person.

If this role is not for you, come see what we are building ---------- on all socials. We will be making history.
