I’m looking for a creative, dependable designer who wants to become a consistent part of a growing team.
This is not a quick freelance project, and it is not a role for someone who primarily chooses Canva templates and changes the colors.
I’m looking for someone who actually designs.
The role combines Canva/graphic design with light social media support.
Design work may include:
Social media graphics and campaign series
Carousels
Flyers and promotional assets
Presentations and pitch decks
Workbooks and educational materials
Brand extensions and submarks
Launch graphics and supporting campaign materials
Our visual direction is bold, editorial, fashion-aware, polished and contemporary.
It should not feel like generic salon marketing, script-heavy “luxury” branding, or AI-looking graphics.
Light social media support may include:
Posting approved content
Helping organize and schedule content
Light comment and community engagement
Simple social media updates
Supporting launches and promotions
I’m looking for someone who can:
Follow detailed creative direction accurately
Work within established logos, fonts, colors and brand standards
Understand typography, hierarchy, composition, spacing and mobile readability
Catch incorrect dates, names, URLs, CTAs and missing information
Build a cohesive campaign instead of designing one disconnected flyer at a time
Design with social media safe zones in mind
Communicate early when there is a question, delay or problem
Take feedback and make revisions without losing what was already working
Manage their time well and meet agreed-upon deadlines
Become increasingly independent as they learn the brand
This role is for someone who actually designs.
You may use AI as a supporting tool, but you cannot rely on AI to do the creative thinking, design work, or explain your decisions for you.
I’m looking for someone who understands design and can make creative decisions themselves.
If your primary process is generating something with AI, choosing a Canva template, changing the colors and submitting it, this is not the right role.
I want someone with their own creative eye.
Creative thinking is encouraged.
If you think there is a stronger creative approach, I want to hear it.
You are welcome to suggest another idea, recommend a different direction, or create an additional option.
What I do not want is for the original direction to be ignored or replaced without discussion.
Most importantly, I’m looking for consistency.
I want someone who genuinely wants the job, wants to learn the business, and wants to become part of the team.
I’m looking for someone who wants something steady, takes ownership of their work, communicates consistently, and is interested in growing with the role — not someone who is already halfway out the door looking for the next opportunity.
The position currently includes 10 guaranteed paid hours per week, with opportunities for additional approved hours during launches and other busy periods.
This is an ongoing remote role.
Finalists will complete a paid design test based on the type of work they would actually be doing.
